A thought experiment: change focus

Despite leaving work on time, the 4 o’clock meeting was 40 minutes late. Traffic was murder, not to mention the fruitless round about directions from spotty gps. I’d already used up any reserve of patience I’d had for earlier fires, and was frustrated to tears. I got stuck in an merge on this overpass. I slowly put my forehead on the steering wheel.

So in a way, I’m lucky traffic was so bad.
