#UHG. CHANGE OF PLANS

OK, ok ok ok... I tried sketching out the color change with markers, altering how much of each color actually shows, took out the Elis cowl 3 times and redid it, switched to a simpler linen stitch instead...

... and I just don’t think the MillaMia is right for these patterns.

This was a few weeks of frustration since I started the cowl while waiting for more of the Brava Bulky to arrive so I could start the sleeves for Faroese Sweater, and I just made zero progress.

I think it just makes it worse because the MillaMia is SOOOO soft and amazing, and it’s so great to work with, on top of knowing that whatever is made will be awesome, but just not this pattern.

Sorry, MillaMia. Back in the stash until I find a pattern worthy of your brilliance. </3

I want what I want wellness I want it. Unfortunately for me ego, shit don't always turn out according to my wants. It's as if living a fully realized journey...being my full self is just out of reach. I can see it but not quite have it. It makes the process of imagination and desiring that much more lustfully painful with a backdrop broken hearted moments. I keep telling myself,"This too shall pass... Keep striving...Do lose heart..." but then another bottom drops out, another slick motherfucker got something to say or things just fall the fuck apart and the painful embarrassing thing is I immediately look to put it together, to heal, to look for the miracle. What's wrong with me that I still expect light and want to pour out love when life shits on me? What am I supposed to learn from this? What is the Divine asking of me?
