You can wish for change, plan for change, but, if you never act on it, change will never happen. It is like starting a diet on Monday. Monday will never come. Because you're planning for something in the future that you're not really committed to. Overhaul in one area of your life doesn't take grandiose measures. It takes one small single actionable step. For example, get up five minutes earlier, write down three things that you like to change that day. Plug them into the schedule, think you can do them. But then check them off your list. The result is: you've got two or three things done you didn't think you could do, but you've also completed a task and it energizes you for tomorrow. Or, get up five minutes earlier in your day, do some mindful breathing and meditation. Center yourself for what you want. Be selfish and take that time for yourself. The world will not end if you are still and quiet. it is simple, we make it hard. Right now take two or three small things that you would like to change in your day. Do them quick before you second-guess it.
