Once Neoptolemus is situated between Chaon's legs, he grabs him roughly by the hair and pulls his head back, forcing him to meet his eye. "You Achaeans lost the war, we Trojans won. We killed all the older men, of course, they were too great a threat to spare, but the pretty young things like you… Well, you can make up for the ten years of hardship you put us through in another way, and I drew the lucky straw that gave me you."

"I will never serve you." Neoptolemus shakes his head, trying to dislodge the hand in his hair, so Chaon grips him tighter. He doesn't miss how he winces.

Comics vs Media: Arion defends Atlantis

In the final days of Atlantis, the Lords of Chaos, Klarion, descend onto the city of Atlantis and caused a cataclysmic events that threaten to destroy the continent. Despite the best efforts of its protector, Arion the Agent of Order & Lord of Atlantis, he perishes and Atlantis falls to the ocean. In his legacy, survivors of his bloodline survive due to their metagene, creating the modern Atlantean race…otherwise called the Homo Mermanus. In the end, Vandal Savage created a race capable of conquering the seas…but at a great cost of his beloved grandson.

With an opportunity to cause mayhem and chaos to the beloved city of its protector, newly crowned king and agent of Order Arion, Chaon, one of the first Lord of Chaos and God of Evil in the universe, descends onto the city while pitting an extraterrestrial invasion force against Atlantis. As Arion tries to save his people, he is locked into combat with the Chaos Lord. Taunting the fair king, Chaon unleashes a spell powerful enough to destroy the continent and Arion is too late to stop it. Unleashing his power to his very peak, he saves his people and vanquishes the evil god, whose physical form is destroyed but his evil essence lives on. With the fall of Atlantis weighing heavy on Arion’s mind, he and the ancient Atlanteans (Homo Magi) must look onward and hope to one day rebuild their kingdom.
