a lot of ppl seem to think the twist in chapter 1044 came way out of the left field but when you think about it, it explains SOOOO much of why the Grand Line is how it is

the weird weather phenomenons, an island floated by balloons (urouge), an island where you can run on air (apoo), even the reverse mountain having a water way that flows up instead of down?? and nobody knows why for literally hundreds of years

what if it's literally this way because the last joy boy/nika made it so?

Everyone wondering how Shanks got the Devil Fruit and what he was planning to do with it like he had some great master plan but I think he just heard that the marines were after some fruit called the Gomu Gomu no Mi and went “Hey, y’know what’d be funny?” and stole it just to fuck with them
