ONE PIECE CHAPTER 1177 SPOILERS!

It's been a while since I've felt the need to comment on a chapter. Nothing super important actually, but a few things have caught my attention (and made me laugh).

First, this moment actually reminds me of that moment in opla 1x07 when Zoro holds Buggy's head, he doesn't shut the fuck up and both Zoro and Usopp are having none of it. Kind of funny to think about Oda possibly taking inspiration from opla's original plot lines jsdjajsd

Second, I LAUGHED OUT LOUD READING THIS EARLIER, MY GOD THEY'RE SO FUNNY LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Nami's crashout is extremely valid because she is trying to put out the fires but I'm obsessed with the fact that Luffy has met up with them accompanied by a huge dragon (a real one this time, much bigger than Kaido) and this is her reaction. That you've gone and made friends with another freak! is the funniest thing she's said in a while, and that's saying something because she is the funniest in that crew.

It's so common to see Luffy accompanied by another dangerous creature that Nami treats him like a cat bringing you the mouse it just caught.

And third, THE DIVAS ARE HERE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very poetic to see the first glimpse of the Usopp we were all expecting to see in Elbaph in the first manga chapter after opla season 2, Usopp's season without a doubt because of Little Garden and Drum.

He's been knocked out for now but in my perfect world, he is going to be essential for their victory this arc. Let's see where this is all going!

Brook telling Usopp to flee but of course, Usopp has leveled up, too. He's on Elbaph. He's a warrior. He's not going to abandon his nakama!!

And Imu hurt Usopp. Hurt Brook. Hurt Luffy's nakama. Which is a great way of pissing off even Nika...!

One Piece 1177 scattered thoughts.

I really like this moment for Collun and the adults of Elbaf. Ripley is down in the Underworld if I recall. After falling down.

And I love when we get these statements of core ideals from villains. Gunmu's words are kinda reminding me of Orochi's mindset here. He had Kaido getting his hands dirty, dealing with all opposition, and only facing someone when they turned them self in and are restrained. Being Yasu.

Gunmu attacking Brook and Usopp seems to be the thing Saturn was doing, telekinetically damaging people, or Usopp's ammo in this case. But I'm not 100% sure.

Getting some chapter 1000 vibes from here. Luffy sees people he cares about being injured and getting ready to fight. Some 1044 too. Kaido sensed Luffy's/Nika's haki from above, and Luffy sensed Imu's haki from above.

If Gunko is able to resist Imu's control again, maybe we'll learn more about why she fears Nika. Also, Ragnir up there is fun.
