As someone who's extremely new to the comics, I have a bad habit of always picturing the batkids the way they're portrayed in WFA.

Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, except for when I'm reading fics that take place wayyyyyy before when WFA takes place.

For example, I was just reading a great one that takes place when Jason is robin, and Nightwing is there trying to comfort him, and I had to stop for a moment to remind myself that Nightwing looks less like this:
