geto suguru and gojo satoru: their names are the exact same length, they have the same initials, both considered the strongest, two sides of the same coin, always together, and both are weapons utilised because they are both the strongest

they are very complex characters, but one thing is absolutely clear: they are both born to complete the narrative, they were born as characters destined to die. When one declares themselves the strongest, it was always bound that there will always be someone stronger - I think, that since the beginning, they were both tragically destined to die by the narrative

geto leaves, gojo remains - I think in the end the narrative let them down. They should have never separated, the title of the strongest, after all, was for both of them, together. I think that one without the other, is leaving behind a part of their soul, their potential, and their aspirations to make the future generations unique. I don’t think either of them achieved truly what they wanted

the thing that unites them in their end, is that even in death, they are both held as weapons, they are never truly, totally, infinitely free

they were people only to each other, not weapons but best friends who understood each other, and I don’t think other characters could ever understand their intentions, morals, feelings, plans, and hardships

this is what I call a well written tragedy

I feel so sorry for both of them, and while I really want to throttle gege right now, I cannot deny that this guy is an absolute genius of a writer
