Okay, so Black Maria is giving off definite Doflamingo vibes with the whole spider thing, but more so (and this is absolutely the influence of fanfiction) the taunt to make Sanji a pet (we all know how that goes down with spiders).

But they’re not the only parallels. Of course there’s also the strings and webs and suspension...

...The pure mirth in being positively evil and kind of polite and kind to your prey (because you have absolute confidence in your power). Doffy quite admired Sanji’s strength and says he’s finally fighting a strong one (throwing shade on Law there).

And just wondering who will come and save Sanji this time, cos this is the estimation of his personality by Black Maria and her followers:

Law’s hanging out in the basement, and I think that maybe Sanji can take care of himself, but this is his weakness. 

And I’m hoping Law gets to slice Hawkins up some more or is up on the roof, but this story line playing out would be fun for the LawSan shippers, and I’m not averse to that.

I don’t think it will go down that way. Just saying there are precedents.

So it’s under a cut in another post but I’m gonna say it anyway, I can’t be the only one drawing parallels between Doflamingo and his prey and Black Maria and hers...she’s giving off very Doffy vibes, and her fruit complements the ito-ito no mi.

Parallels between Doffy and Black Maria or what? And Marco! 🖤❤️💜 And more Ace backstory coming up! Wano is really delivering. For me at least. And Doctor Marco helping Doctor Chopper. Even if it wasn’t in a doctor mode. My heart. 

And everyone knows Marco. Queen’s “meddling bum” comment. Love it. Wonder what the official translation will be. And Who’s Who is maybe someone we saw at Marineford? Or he knew Jinbe when he was a warlord...ahh...can’t wait for 999.

Bit disappointed that Apoo was so easily defeated. I hope he’s not defeated. I like his power and want to see more. Zoro’s throwaway to Drake...And honekichi (Brook)i, zoro-juurou and O-Robi getting flown up to the roof by Marco. Love.
