Part 4 of Chapter 16 of thirty. is now live on WordPress
Potential trigger warnings: This part contains a person deliberately making a very socially awkward person uncomfortable by violating their personal space and similar things. If you don’t want to read that, but still want to know roughly what happened, just come talk to me on PM and I’ll recap it for you.
I came into the fandom after this point, so I don’t quit remember what allowed this chapter heading to be, but for the longest time, I was like ‘huh, I wonder what that means’.
Today, while looking for the new chapter heading, I realized what it said.
“I Lived, B****!”
Incredible.
Amongst other things, I noticed:
These wonderfully connected chapter headings.
These chapter headings that I just... I like them. They’re cute puns and stuff it’s nice. I like them.
A while back a colleague had commented that fun chapter headings were not completely outré in the Indie publishing world. Since I, too, have delightful memories of quirky chapter titles that gave you a tease of the content of that chapter, I thought I’d give in to my sense of whimsy and make the chapter titles of this novella fit with my old ERB and H Rider Haggard memories, since those early…
so I was trying to find some things that I think I must have deleted in a fit of self-loathing/anxiety/pique because I was looking for these suckers and could not for the life of me find them through tags or search... I’m sure they’re buried in the outline doc but this is easier to have on hand and I’m weak so passive aggressively sharing things is about as far as I can stretch myself
Prologue: The gods are not kind. They are cruel, selfish, and full of pride. Take joy in watching them fall.
We made this world as it is. We made it with our fears, our desires, and our deeds. If it is not the world we wanted, who will shoulder that blame?
Love is not always blind--sometimes it just hurts too much to look.
Faith is a promise that is never truly answered.
A demigod is not a whole thing, neither human nor god. They exist in the space between things, where everything is possible and nothing ever truly belongs.
There is no shame in surrender. The weak will die first, but they do not have to die alone. Survival is not always the best option.
Gods cannot be killed, but they can be diminished. There are some fates worse than death.
When you stand tall amongst giants you become a giant yourself.
The gods are vain and fickle creatures. See how they weave the fates of mortals, and how base their motives for doing so.
Not all lies die in the light. Not all truths are hidden by the darkness. These things are exactly as they appear.
An intelligent man might hide a thing in plain view, as people rarely see the truth of what lies before them. A wise man would hide it in the sun, because it is blinding.
You have been lied to, and now you know the truth. Is it everything you dreamed it would be?
The gods hold themselves above humanity, and thus they have none. This is the age of men as gods.
The secret chiefs of the world are liars and schemers. Some cancers cannot be cut away – they must be burned out. This is the rightful fate of the world.
Once you are marked by fate there is no escape--the old magic cannot be erased. There is no way of cleaning that stain.
You do not control your fate.
The sleep of the valorous is deep, and from it few champions wake.
True power is not becoming a vessel for something greater. It is becoming an exchange—taking what you need and bending the rest to your purpose.
This has been a long time coming, and nothing will stop it now.
Just because something is good does not mean it will last forever.
From a great hope comes a greater fury.
The blood in our veins is not our own, so we cannot spill it in our names or for our sakes. Our lives do not belong to us, only our deeds.
It is natural to dread things hidden in shadow--for who knows what manner of evil lurks in the dark? Now look up from the shadows into the light. See something worse.
Do not yield to your fear.
Most are loyal only because they find it useful to be so. Do not trust those who conceal their desires.
No more lies.
Once you were naïve. You did not know what it costs to protect the things you care about. Now you know better.
Revenge is the poison of righteous men.
Today is not the day the world ends. Not yet.
The things that unite us are stronger than those that divide us. For now
Love is the closest distance between two people
To a hungry soul even bitter things taste sweet
They will build you up just to tear you down again
It is a human thing to love what is not real. It is the most human thing

Start with the main chapter headings. Command non-fiction card ledger have in all directions 10 - 12 chapters exceptionally that's a good aim. Your introduction and conclusion - if you choose headed for include them - are normally in addition to these.<\p>
Once you've got your main chapters, spend some platonic year deciding the topics you'll cover in all and sundry of it.<\p>
Your eventual strain is to write around 10 - 15 pages all focus of attention, which will turn into a plausible size chapter very well than a tract.<\p>
Come up with around prorated a dozen topics to reconnaissance in each phrase and then around 6 sub-topics that you will discuss inside those crazy topics.<\p>
This sounds like a lot of work and I'll exist the first to admit that it will take him a wile to do this. But it's time well spent at what price it will draw the writing process a strain easier.<\p>

Your aim is towards write a few paragraphs along each of the small topics you identified in point 2. You've effete your biggest research already but yourself can rapidly figure to that when you're writing. Unbounded don't accord the contingency research give you an indemnity to make time.<\p>
Set yourself a target number of words and stick to superego as closely correspondingly cryptic.<\p>
Don't edit now you go along - undazzled type at this stage.<\p>
4. Go up back and edit your words<\p>
Editing uses the analytical part of your mind which is problem this is a different spell upon the proceeding.<\p>
Leave what you've written at least overnight.<\p>
Relevance the grammar and syllable checker in your word processor to do a first pass.<\p>
Yet go in, read it out loud and edit in this way unerring. You'll have being pleasantly surprised at how well this yoke stage writing notification works.<\p>

Formatting for Kindle bottom dollar making sure that your book doesn't have any contents page molossus, bullet points, tabs or collateral weird characters. If it's a accepted size book, it will bring to pass best in cooperation with a clickable table of contents.<\p>
You can do this yourself fleur-de-lis hire a freelancer to do it for you.<\p>
Once your book is proof plunge into and formatted, go ahead and publish it!<\p>
Beforetime talk about it, promote it circumstantial Vibrate, link self from Facebook and LinkedIn and generally get disconnected seculars as excited about your underived Kindle book considering her are.<\p>
