Max Blunder!

I tried out a new rendering style, but idk how I feel about it.

I love drawing him, but I kind of also hate my design as well, so I’m working on a new one. (Also I’m only like 30 mins into Grian’s dnd vod, I should probably finish that)

Again, I really need a new design, so if anybody can give me for some inspiration with a jesterish or medieval theme, please do.

without knowing anything about them. could you all give your verdict on these designs because the bottom three are really giving me trouble and i feel like they all look kinda mid compared to the top 3. maybe it’s the saturation. girl in the bottom middle made me so mad i quit the drawing

How do you come up with your clothing designs?

character design is hard

I'm trying to design her to get the point across that she is an inventor who uses tech to teleport. she created it by scrounging though scrap wars as well as going to dangerous places to scrounge up old military tech and steals from the corrupt government she lives in.

She was also created in a lab ware they were experimenting with this thing called ichor and they were trying to learn more about theses interdimensional monsters. So she's technically part Abyssal (the name of the monster) and so she looks human but her internal working is actually black pulling ichor and that is seen on some of her body as her forearms and her legs are black wish swirling patterns crawling up her body and also is powered by a small star acting as her heart. She also has accelerated healing because...well her body is basically goo........

How can I make this design better/ get those points across.

Working on another sheet for Mahdi's little creature daughter, Fariah, but like...idk her colors and clothes are messing me up. I can't tell if I've limited my palette too much or it's not diverse enough, or like if it's the outfit that's throwing me

I like her hair with that green of her silly cardigan, but other than that?? idk

half of these designs don't really work with the personality and half of these will almost definitely get compared to another character and make me feel worse... what the hell should i do
