I kinda only had gems character to draw with a reference:p and some attributes for the others! I defd took lots of inspiration from the fanart (yall are crazy good omg)

Tried to make em different color schemes so its easier to differentiate them. Also themed them by shapes (scar: Rectangle, grian: triangle, impulse: square, gem: semi circle?)

I’m so sure Max Bounder has self esteem issues. His dream instantly starts out with him failing the trick, Pix says he “arrived in the circus through different circumstance to most” WHATEVER THAT MEANS, Rufus is constantly comparing “Mundane people like us” vs wizards and sorcerers and just in general keeps driving home that they don’t have the inane abilities other people do, Max’s quiet “You’re always right…” in response to Rufus scolding him for not being able to create water, the dream ending with Pix mentioning about how Max’s Create Water ability won’t be enough, his arrogant demeanour, oh i’m so sure he struggles with his self image

Max Blunder!

I tried out a new rendering style, but idk how I feel about it.

I love drawing him, but I kind of also hate my design as well, so I’m working on a new one. (Also I’m only like 30 mins into Grian’s dnd vod, I should probably finish that)
