Introducing Mint Lotus~! (Based off my friend Nikki :3)
Jaime Lannister, the Kingslayer, Commander of the Kingsguard.
So often Jaime is thought of as a man without honor, or compared to his siblings. And while it's undeniable that Jaime has done terrible things in his life, he is well within redemption reach.
When it comes to honor, Jaime has only broken two Oaths in the entire series. Most famously in world was his killing of Mad King Aerys. He did not kill Aerys for personal gain, or because his loyalty to his own house though. Aerys planned to raze King's Landing, and had already committed dozens of atrocities in front of Jaime. The second was his oath of celibacy. And while sleeping with his sister us disgusting, Jaime is far from the only knight to break his oath for love. Jon Snow, Sam Tarly, Arys Oakheart, and plenty more noble knights have broken their celibacy, but fans still find them honorable.
Jaime even fights to keep Oaths with no one around to hold him to it. He fights tooth and nail to resist fighting the Tully's, even after Catelyn's death. He abandons his army to help Brienne save Sansa without question when she asks, though we know this is a lie.
Jaime Lannister was a negligent father, though he strives to love them as much as he can. He pushed a child out a window, but risks his life to save his sister. He spits at chivalry, and knightly nobility, but he refuses to abandon his oaths. At his core, Jaime doesn't know who he is. He's been shaped by his family, and the world's perception of him. Even his golden hand, beautiful as it may be, was chosen by Cersei to fit the courtier she wants him to be.
I don't know if Jaime will survive his encounter with Lady Stoneheart and her Brothers without Banners, but if he does I have high hopes for him. Someone will need to make him a hand more reminiscent of the one worn by Götz of the Iron Hand. It could be made of gold, but steel or iron would be preferable for the weight.

I did the drawing for this piece back in October 2025, and then, as with many of my drawtober pieces I left it to rot. I really did enjoy making this one though so decided to pick it up and finish it.
This piece really kicked off my consideration of working in a more illustrative style.
Pretty rad character illustrations 🪄
Pedrotober Day 3/31: Nails!
Today is in honor of @nailpaintchristina for always keeping his nails so pretty for his big events <3 I adore the team behind this man and that everyone is so kind and genuine. I also love his own obsession with having nails done - I hope he does them up for his upcoming press events! <33
Hey guys! Making an appearance on here to advertise my commissions yet again! Some family stuff has left me in a very financially compromised position (especially considering I was fairly financially compromised anyway LMAO) and I could really use the help!! Here are previews of a commission that I'm working on, and i'm offering character busts like these here for a discount at £40 (Busts are usually £50 for a more rendered style like this) if anyone is interested!! I draw OCs, D&D Characters, sonas of all sorts, and characters from existing IP!
All the information can be found on my pinned post, or alternatively you can take a look at my ko-fi!! Likes are lovely but reblogs are HUGELY appreciated, thank you!!!
