"Writer VS Characters" Where we answer a few questions related to our opinion on NPCs.
Favourite character to write: The high charisma + high malice Demon Lord. I really like writing crazy characters who amuse themselves through the suffering of others. As for someone other than the MC, I like writing The Hero and their relationship with their mother.
Least favourite to write: Had to think a bit on this one, since this story is pretty short, it doesn't have a wide variety of cast, therefor not many to raise my blood pressure while writing. My least favourite to write is definitely the MC's father.
Most frustrating to write: Most frustrating to write is the MC's mother. I want to reach through my imagination and shake her by the shoulders. Thinking about it, the Demon Lord is also pretty frustrating to write, as there are a lot of branching and special text.
Character who surprised you the most (whatever reason): The most surprising of the cast was probably Yuven. Originally, I planned for the Hero to be a complete coward, but then they wouldn't even be able to approach the Demon Castle. So I tweaked some of the original traits I had planned, and the final 'Yuven' came out really different from the original 'Yuven'
Character you hope people will like: I hope that everyone is likable. But If I had to chose, it would be the MC (again, yes)
Character you worry people might hate: I worry that Attendant B will come off as too annoying. They are supposed to be a little bit irritating, but not too much. Still, it seems that Attendant B is becoming a little too hardcore in worshipping the Demon Lord.
Any characters that are buzzing about at the end of your mind, but have no place in the story (yet): Non, actually. No more characters have crossed my mind yet, but I am looking forward to writing the interactions between the MC's sibling and the MC.
Any characters you wonder might be better suited in a different story: This time, non at all. This project is a bit more self-indulgent compared to my main project, and I'll write it however I feel like. Though, I would like to write a modern AU with the Demon Lord as a overbearing CEO, and also, give Attendant A a happier ending. (What do I mean by that? We won't know for a while...)
Character you want to be friends with: I would like to be friends with the low malice and lukewarm Demon Lord. Who wouldn't want to be buddy buddy with a cool CEO? Heh
Character you'd avoid IRL: I'll be avoiding the MC's sibling, please, and thank you. The MC's sibling is quite crazy, a single wrong gesture can make them play with your head like a football.
