Vivziepop lacking imagination to make proper wardrobe for her characters kinda makes sense giving how bad at writting she is. The way you dress is heavily influentiated by your personality and preferences, however her characters barely have a personality to begin with so their outfits are lame aswell.
Verosika ,for example, only has three personality traits:
You cannot really do much with just that, so her outfits are basically generic celebrity dress and bad attempts at looking sexy. If she doesn't have better outfits its because her simplistic personality doesnt allow her to.
That's absolutely fair, and I see where you are coming from with that approach. There isn't a real grasp of what Verosika likes to give her a unique look compared to other female characters. We don't have a scale of her level of comfort with herself.
The anon before pointed out how she was an older woman, but that doesn't inherently make her clothing an issue. Being older does not mean you cannot dress sexy, but we don't have an interior world for Verosika to navigate that makes her choice of attire feel hollow and generic.
Imagine if her age was an issue. I always saw Verosika as being significantly younger than Blitz based on the joke in Spring Broken where she had mentioned Amber Alerts (Amber Alerts are sent out for missing and/or kidnapped children). So I read that as a cradle-robbing joke. Which told me that she was probably 18-21 when she and Blitz were together while he was more likely over 25.
Which, yes, that is legal. But the difference in worldly knowledge is a huge barrier between those age groups. The brain finishes maturing between the ages of 25 and 27, while a 21 year old is just a glorified teenager. The potential for manipulation and even abuse is high. Especially with someone as damaged as Blitz.
So I would love to have an idea of Verosika as a person reaching her 30s and either trying to hang on to her youth, and feeling uncomfortable with herself, or she genuinely feels like she is finally living her best life. If we actually got to spend time with her as a character, this probably wouldn't be that big of an issue.
I dress like a 13 year old boy in my 30s. But it makes sense when you realize I am someone who prioritizes my own comfort over aesthetics. I got cute clothes, sexy clothes, all that stuff. But I dress to how I'm feeling. and we never get Verosika's feelings aside from "I hate Blitz". Which then loses comprehension as a feeling and just becomes her personality.
So, Tl;Dr, I agree with you.
