We’re live!

It’ll never be finished, as far as my art is concerned. I’ll have pieces moved off and on now and then, once’s I deem that I would show to a studio or interviewer, should I hopefully get the opportunity 🙏

If you’ve never been to Cryreland, chances are you’ll have no desire to once you walk into the Belchin Muckie in downtown Monstropolis! 🇮🇪🍻

It might have been quite a shock to Pete, having never met a real Cryreish beast, he got the warm welcome most first timers get. I’m yet to create a design for the Belchin Muckie as an establishment, but here’s a taste of its hospitality when you meet Jonah at the bar! (Which this is the first time Pete meets one of the Garvey’s.)

Koschei muttered, while beside the 8 foot cryptid, Ryan stood. There are many a beauty in nature, but upon Ryan seeing the sun from his own world, cascade over them, he was aghast to such an opportunity he’d hadn’t taken before. When in a mere seconds, on a cold factory floor, he was now in the Appalachian wilderness. 🌅

Koschei (belonging to @focuriousity25-blog ) was mysterious without a doubt, Ryan even on first impression felt that aura about him, but putting that aside when Ryan breathed in nature from his own planet once again. In full gratitude to his giant friend. 🖤

At any given chance, no matter how simple it is, Johnny makes anything he can a test or competition 🏆

Ryan and Johnny are 16 years apart, clearly no power struggle but any shot of adrenaline for his ego he’ll create for himself! You could look at it as Johnny roughing Ryan up to fraternity life, especially with Roar Omega Roar, but not even a simple drawing could just be a gift.

It wouldn’t be till years later, when Johnny would reflect on Ryan’s art, that for any monster, it became a token of friendship. 💜

The contrast with Pete and Jack has been parallel throughout my art & story. Pete’s not shy to maintain rules and manners with Ryan, yet he often can’t bring himself to say no to him, Jack who consumed by the need of power and authority, let that go to his head, and lost the touch of what a true dad means. While both monsters grew up in different decades, the balance between discipline and love matters in any child’s development.

Despite what you think of ‘Fang’ Worthington, he did fight for the best for Johnny, & in some way, Ryan exposed to his sledgehammer approach, made him a little stronger. 💪

Been locking in for days to complete this! - Still have colour fill depending on my schedule, I’ve been so inspired from the fandom on discord with the amount of amazing talent on there ! ✨

It’s great to give Pete more ‘screentime’ in a way, and using his library of voice lines, by Joe Ranft as well, is super cool! 💙💙💙 Marginally proud of how this is churning out, definitely could have adjustments, but being self taught, I’m very happy with this attempt since my last one!

In this monsters at work AU Johnny doesn’t take on the role of inheriting his Dad’s company. Before graduating MU he cut all contact with his father. He managed to get hired at Monsters inc as a scarer, and later on he would adapt to becoming a jokester, and move his way up to being ahead of the laughter research team.

To recap Randall’s role, he was able to return to the monster world after reconstructing a door from the human side. He returned around the time monsters inc was switching to laugh power. This pissed Randall off. So He decided to gather up a small group of “outcast” monsters to help him sabotage Monsters Inc and any other companies switching to laugh power. What’s different now, is Jack is providing Randall with the resources needed to carry out his plans.

He stole a gun from the human world. And killed the humans who owned said gun.

Isaiah is the president of the marketing team for Monsters Inc. He’s practically exhausted from trying to get Mike not to spend more money on useless things.

The soft hum of her voice blended with the touching tale on the pages, as Aunt Carol sat by Ryan’s colossal bed that ate up his small frame, he melted into the fabric with each passing minute. While Tess kept her watch, and Carol saw the small human’s eyes struggle to keep awake.

At this point, Ryan had been around Monstroplis with monsters within his circle, while he was close with them all like family, the most close knit he felt is with the Garvey’s. With big monsters, come’s big hearts. 💗

In some alt timeline, either Ryan has huge guts or Jack’s not as much of a tyrant, old Worthington is in the receiving end of Ryan’s cheeky attitude! Not to say Ryan wouldn’t respect his elders, but Jack never gave any, so.. hey why give it back?

Suffice to say, Ryan wouldn’t be able to resist sticking it back to ‘Fang’. A whack from his cane? Still worth it. 🃏

2026 reference sheet for Peter Lawson! Much like Quinn, he went thought a lot of changes as his character was developed. I think adding more vibrant colors really helped me like him more, matching his outspoken personality much better than his previous iteration!

Peter’s Background:

Peter Lawson is a professor at MU and Quinn’s father. He was born to a well established scaring family, where he learned to adapt to whatever crowd he interacted with, especially among elite families. It helped build him a wide network and gained many friends, but he lacked a real identity for himself. That all changed when he met Bridget, the love of his life. Their love was gradual, but grew stronger each day, eventually getting married after college and then having Quinn.

He would find a successful scaring career at MI, with a surge in popularity in the 90s with the rise of dinosaur media and gaining the nickname “Peter the Petrifying”. He is an ambitious monster, loyal to his family and friends (to a fault in his youth). Waternoose was formerly one of his closest friends, to the point of appointing him godfather of his daughter. Just a few years prior to the present, he was offered a position to teach at MU, to which he excitedly agreed to, discovering a passion in teaching.

Peter loved his scaring work, but he loves his family much more. In the present, he is attempting to reach out to MI with plans to further research in laugh energy and potentially establish the first comedy school at MU.

The shock of seeing three of his partners, his uncle, and a rival company employee and his human son, was too much of a shock for Johnny, and he succumbed to unconsciousness. Meet ‘Vipemilla Mollis’ or Tess, she’s affectionately named by her main master!

She could devour you, ‘could’ - but Tess is a soft as the soil she was planted in! Cliff’s second pride after his family is his green thumb side, and with that when Tess sprouted her little bud, and showed those shredder’s. ✨

She accompanies him around their garden, often coiling on his shoulders or slinking in the undergrowth. Jonah might have a few scars healing when he was a baby, almost entangled by her vines, but she’s as close to anyone she’s been around her whole life. 💚

Still though, any would be burglar would pick the wrong garden to infiltrate.. ☠️🌿

The ‘venom’ in Tess’s saliva and glands can be mistaken as poisonous, which works against predators but it’s actually a formidable and edible nectar, that has nutritious benefits and has a honeysuckle taste. Which is the key ingredient in Oozelager found in any liquor store in Monstropolis! Or a fresh pint at the Belchin Muckie on 6th Hissenville Ave. 🍻
