#character woes

So I keep running into people headcanoning things about Infinite and every time I see them I’m like YES!! but then I’m also like noooooooooo.

Anyone who follows me probably knows about Paradox, my Zone Cop/Time Cop version of Silver (though more Venice than Silver). What those outside of my little private RP don’t know is that Paradox is actually one of a set of twins. He has a brother who’s actually vastly more powerful than he is and who’s long gone off the deep end because of that. (It’s part of why Paradox has the limiters/channelling tech. He doesn’t want to go the same way)

The more people think up amazing headcanons for Infinite, the more he starts sounding like Paradox’s twin, Anomaly. Anomaly doesn’t wear a full face mask, but he DOES keep his eyes covered as they’re the focus point of his powers. (Paradox’s, for comparison, are his hands, where the infinity symbols are. So you can guess where Anomaly’s are.) His ‘kraken’ quills don’t stand up like Silver/Paradox’s do because he keeps them longer so they sweep behind him.

I haven’t done anything with him here on the blog because I’ve been debating if I have enough time and energy to actually make Dox his own ask blog. And Anomaly was going to feature in a storyline I was gonna do for that. Now I’m just like “oh noooooooo...” cause it’s gonna sound like I’m trying to rip off people’s headcanons for Infinite.... ;~;

“  (Even though I can't stand Caithe as a character) I hate that when all Caithe wanted to do was help with Aurene, the Commander was all "I can't trust you, you betrayed us blah blah blah" even though Caithe was super sorry for what she did. Yet when Rytlock admits to freeing Balthazar from the Mists, he got no word from the Commander? Rytlock literally killed thousands and nearly destroyed a whole country from his mistake and all Caithe did was take the egg to safety. Like ??? “ submitted by anon.
