As many of you are probably aware, or will soon be made aware, Tumblr has decided to completely and utterly ban anything deemed as ‘adult content’ from the site.
In the past year, Scourgey’s blog has been incorrectly flagged NSFW TWICE. Before now this was simply an annoyance I had to work with staff to get fixed.
Now, it runs the risk of me losing his entire blog in an instant with no recourse offered to me because their automatic image bot decided I was posting adult oriented artwork.
THIS MEANS I AM MOVING SCOURGEY’S ACCOUNT!!!
I’m very sorry to all his followers. I really hate to have to do this but I’m no longer willing to risk losing everything I have with him to Tumblr’s terrible automated systems and their unresponsive staff. He’s too important to me.
He is moving to Twitter. Links in text posts break their search and block them from people’s dashboards now, thanks to other changes, so I can’t actively link it here.
He’s on Twitter @ askarealscourge just as always.

Again, I’m sorry to do this. I really hope many of you will follow. It sucks that I have to rebuild from the beginning again but… I’m willing to do that rather than lose him entirely.

I haven’t seen this show up on my dash ONCE yet this Chanukah season I have to do everything by myself
I love seeing all these faux-NES retro mockups that have 8-bit graphics but are otherwise meticulously true to the source material, when we all know that the real contemporary NES adaptation would have involved the characters jumping around a derelict industrial park throwing stuff at robots. Doesn’t matter what the source material in question is – it could be freaking Waiting for Godot, and it’d be Industrial desolation and chucking crap at alien cyborgs.

The ones that really get me are the ones where the inexplicable flesh hell is, like, level 4, and then the rest of the game goes back to fighting robots with no particular acknowledgment of the detour.

The Lisa Frank look is absolutely what I was going for, too! It’s one of my very favourite aesthetics and one I have a tendency to look like, myself, often enough as it is. Cute and bright and rainbowy. My Dad has taken to calling me his ‘Rainbow Brite’ and that’s all very much what I poured into Candi. I’m so happy that came through with her! ^-^ ♥♥♥
