Micovir -

Micovir is a member of the Prosoma colony's Innovators Guild. They are fairly social, and enjoy attending colony events. Their main drive for creation is boredom, as they find themself easily brought to restlessness. One of the few activities that grounds them is observing fish. They can often be found laying at the bottom of creeks and rivers, staring up as the world moves around them. Their grotto is heavily decorated with the etchings of fish they admire.

Their closest relationships are with that of Rasa and Lutim Greenbrook—two fellow members of the Innovators Guild. Micovir and Lutim made quick friends and at times become distractions to each other during project work, with Rasa acting as a mediator.

Lacmanet Tideway is a more recent relationship development, being introduced to them after Aquade Oarfoot joined the guild. The two bonded over their mutual interest in river ecosystems, though Lacmanet's interest is far more casual.

Micovir is often favoured for their plate colours, with green colouration being a recessive trait in eurypterans. Their name is in reference to the Green Flash optical phenomenon.

Teddy (Bear): New life, bravery, and strength - A new beginning to their life. CAREBEAR???? MAYBE. maybe o-o... Bat: adaptability and intuition. They tend to hide behind their short bushy curls when thinking, nervous, or upset/distressed.

BTW when I write about this it'll likely have content warnings if it's lore-heavy because I am going to traumatize this character :D but sometimes there will be fluff!!

Project Protection: AKA Oakly. (In one dimension she works for Obake in replacement of Noodle Burger Boy.) 184 years of age.  Cyborg. Capable of hopping dimensions. 4′ 6″ (with ears) 4′ 0″ (without her mech. ears) Project Protection was designed as a weapon to protect people in higher places. Presidents, the rich, whoever would and could afford her. She was a government project. Best with hand-to-hand combat. Skilled in assassination, theft and spying.  Mostly blind in her left eye. Mute with ears that create expression. A mask to hide scars from surgeries. Retractable claws that add extra punch when retracted. All metal made of titanium. Highly immune to venoms, poisons, and other toxins. Extremely poweful immune system and immediate antibody responses to deadly diseases and viruses.  Computer brain allows for this along with anti-aging abilities. Immortal until killed. Fights at extremely high speeds, giving enemies little to no reaction time. Often aims for the eyes, puncturing the eyes means either blinding or death, depending on how far her claws reach in. Either way, effective. Low stamina. Capable of taking on several enemies but tends to grow weary fairly fast. Needs only a few minutes of rest to build this back up. Deadly accuracy. Strength of three men. Other weaknesses include electrical shocks, sticky things, loud radio frequencies or frequency jammers, several distracting noises, as she relies heavily on her ears over her eyes when fighting. Other weaknesses include water, great at swimming but cannot fight well when in the water, and exposed areas on the body. Places that aren’t her mask or her arm coverings. The claws are only removable by surgery and even then would not be wise to remove. Ears also only removable by surgery, not attached to mask. Mask clicks onto the ears to stay on. The mask CAN be knocked off but it’s very difficult.  Defied creators, can still be controlled with a remote. Not a mind control thing, more just like an extremely painful shock to keep her in line. She cannot destroy it or touch it due to programming reasons. Could not fully fight her programming. A long while ago she burned her first home (the lab), her creators and her best friend all in one place, escaping and living simply to survive at this point. Sometimes encountering villains out in search for weaponry or henchmen. Sometimes encountering heroes in search for information. Choosing neither to be hero or villain. NAME: Miru Nhule

RACE: Miqo’te - Moonkeeper

GENDER: Female

Physical Appearance

HAIR: Long, ink black hair falls down past her shoulders to her hips in gentle waves. Miru tends to wear it loose but will sometimes braid it or tie it up in a very messy bun. Usually when she’s reading or working.

EYES: Miru has heterochromia, her left eye being a deep purple while her right is a deep blue. 

HEIGHT: 5’0”

BUILD: Although small, Miru is a bit thicker than most Miqo’te. Her body is a bit of an hourglass shape, physically healthy but carrying some softness in her thighs and stomach, and definitely a bit on the curvier/chubbier side.

DISTINGUISHING MARKS: Beauty mark under right eye.

COMMON ACCESSORIES: Not one for excessive jewelry, Miru does have a small purple ear clasp on her right ear. Usually has a satchel on her hip or over her shoulder and a book strapped to her belt. She does wear a ring with the sigil of Llymlaen around her neck on a dark leather cord.

Limsan Lominsans | The day her father died was definitely a terrible one. The news of the stopped raid flooded the streets, though Miru was only minimally named in the papers thanks to Zirnwyda. It’s not something a seven-year-old should have to go through. Ever. Her father was known for his cheery demeanor and was always willing to lend a helping hand. His loss was felt keenly for a while. Miru tries her best to emulate that despite all her anxieties and shortcomings. Chances are if she’s not working with the Sisters, she’s patrolling Limsa on her own and helping in her own way. Someone’s short on gil? Suddenly a stranger pays for the foodstuffs or tools they need. A child is lost and scared? Cue the cuddly miqo’te soothing them and taking them to the nearest Yellow Jacket until the parent is found. Someone’s hurt because of a fight that’s woefully one-sided? She’s not one for fighting but she’ll swoop in and end the fight if needed. Make no mistake, Miru’s soft and she desires the best for her hometown, but she quickly learned words can only get you so far. Sometimes you have to bare steel, and she will.

Yellow Jackets | Whether you’re a Yellow Jacket who knew Mozah’li (her father) or Zirnwyda (her foster mother), you probably at least heard of Miru and her father’s death on the pier all those years ago. Whether you were an old friend, rival, or just a comrade-in-arms, chances are you’ve heard some semblance of the story if you were around back then and if not? You might be quickly informed about it, or hear whispered rumours at least. Personally Miru doesn’t like talking about how her father died, it’s still a touchy subject and she’ll be quick to change the topic if she feels it’s even remotely drifting in that direction.

Dutiful Sisters of the Edelweiss | Calling all rogues and clients! If you’ve had contact with the Dutiful Sisters then you’ve definitely crossed paths with Miru at least once, whether or not she’s aware of it is another matter. She’s one to always uphold the code, and why she chose this profession is a mystery really. You could ask Jacke but he doesn’t even know. She just...showed up one day, asked to join and never left. At least, not until she met Y’shtola and went to join the Scions of the Seventh Dawn. One notable thing is that she’s incredibly good at her job, although she avoids combat if possible.

Honestly anything you might think of! | I’m super open to how your muse might know/ heard of mine (or not!) I love talking headcanons and figuring out things like this so you can always ask me. If the idea is within the realm of possibility I’m positive we can work something out. Whether it’s a fishmonger she helped, a bystander who remembers a raven-haired Moonkeeper saving someone from drowning by diving into the harbor to save them. Really anything! Miru goes out of her way to help those in need, who’s to say she hasn’t helped you?

since only two people here know about the lads y’all are seeing here i decided to make a post with their info. feel free to scroll through this if ur interested! probably won’t be too long (and there will be pictures)  im STILL putting it under a read more bc it might be slightly long (and there will be pictures)

here he is! the boy that started all of this! this guy got adopted by a maws after ending up in a ship that got stuck in the sea. He carries around a lifesaver & works as a snatcher, he cant swim so he travels by boat. it can take him a while to meet another squids as 90% of the interactions he’s had with them was salmon run stuff. he can get excited easily and can sometimes pretend to be rude but he’s both a coward and a softie. (he usually avoids squids unless it’s someone salmonids know, and might avoid going into squid form if surrounded by salmonids that don’t know him well as he wants to pass as a salmon himself.) he only shows up in lost outpost. 

y’all will see this guy a lot. he’s easy to befriend and very laid-back, but does a decent job as a stinger. i don’t have much else about him, he’s another close friend of moog. he’s chill with everyone as long as no one is harming anyone. he also enjoys closed spaces more than open spaces.

this is the maws that adopted the boy. she’s pretty old and kind of stubborn to anyone except her son. she doesn’t stay in the same place for too long so she may be quick to leave. she rarely participates in salmon runs herself but likes to be there whenever moog is joining one be either to cheer him or to help him out if he’s in a bad place. she also likes jokes.

and here is the fourth member of the squad! he’s a steel eel driver but he’s almost (if not already) as big as a cohock. he owns a house in lost outpost where he’s been living since he was a kid, mogu can’t stay on water for too long nor can swim so they just dropped him off at his place. he’s pretty much his adoptive cousin. he’s always serious and only seems to care about himself and his vehicle, plus he’s a fairly good mechanic and works at either repairing or building stuff. he often fights with his cousin over petty stuff too.

This WIP is honestly too full of characters to introduce every single one, so I might just put important/main characters here and add a separate post for side characters if I need to later (though honestly I probably won’t)

Elijah (Eli) Park:

kinda the only cool thing about him

okay maybe not the ONLY thing

he’s really good at being confused

which he is for the majority of the book

all of his intentions though? pure

even if he has no idea how to go about them

just wants his brother and sister to love him as much as he loves them

Lark Montgomery:

a god (literally!)

a seraphim god, to be more specific

basically she has the power of “creation”

which mostly means healing in her current situation

speaking of her current situation

poor girl has to train ten mages after only finding out mages existed at all a year ago???

she’s optimistic at least (very optimistic...it’s unsettling)

violin helps tie her to her old human life before she knew she was a god

Viktor Montgomery:

another god!

lark’s twin brother, but somehow (no spoilers) he’s cimmerian

basically means he has the power of “destruction”

he doesn’t like to show it off

books are cooler than magic in his opinion

comes off as cold because he only has three moods:

calm, pissed, and apathetic

Xendalia:

another mage

no last name because the poor girl was just too powerful and got kidnapped from her human parents as a baby

grew up as no more than a vessel for power

doesn’t know how to be a real person because of it

no one has any idea if she likes them or hates their guts

pulled into this world because when you have no pulse and the curse of bad luck, it’s hard not to tell something’s up
