Another gouache painting of my ranger character. In this one I tried to create a good contrast between the values and hues. After I finished the sketch, I completely shaded it with graphite pencils. Then I painted water-diluted gouache on top of it, and after that a little bit thicker paint that is less diluted. I really like how it turned out.

Character of the day: Kallif

Race: Tiefling (17 yo, 5′6″ ft, 150 lb)

Class: Cleric (Light) Level 2

Kallif was born in the slave life. His mother was a slave, she never told him who his father was. Around his 10′s, the followers of Pelor liberated the slaves from their masters, however, it wasn’t peaceful, and Kallif’s mother died in the middle of the conflict. After the fight, Kallif and others, who didn’t have a place to go, were welcomed in the Temple of Pelor. There, Kallif worked, studied, and served in the Temple of Pelor untill, when Siegfried, the Head of the Temple, the one who brought Kallif in, almost the only one who sees Kallif as more than his lineage, he gave Kallif a mission, and there is where his adventure begins.
