Oooooi so much stress. I'm going to pretend that the Con-Gods are throwing boss battles at me and charlottedsweb, rather than the universe trying to prevent us from going. Here's the haps: 1.) I have no car, nor does my husband. Our one car broke down two weeks ago. 2.) Charlottedsweb HAS a car, but her mom has decreed it out of play because it's not road-worthy enough to get down there. 3.) We don't have the money for bus/train tickets... 4.) Nor do we have the money for a rental car. 5.) My lovely friend surelymeretricious has offered me a ride down, but that's on Thursday and Monday... and I'm hesitant because I have kids, and charlottedsweb has a jobby-thing. Otherwise I would be all OVER that because HEY ROAD TRIP WITH FRANDS. 6.) We might be able to borrow my sister-in-law's van, but that's entirely contingent on her not needing it for all of Friday, which I kind of doubt.
