Does anyone happen to know what might have happened to #Chase820 and the beautiful story of Miracle Year on AO3? It is a story that have woven itself into my heart strings and I don’t know what to do. 😭

Serious question: does this have a happy cherik and/or xavierine ending? Like, you do your thing with my good will, but whether I personally read it depends on that.

Well, Erik essentially marries Charles in the 3rd chapter so there’s a Cherik ending? But I’m not sure we’d categorize it as ‘happy’ since neither speak the other’s language at this point, and Erik is Erik so he doesn’t really do anything to express his feelings to Charles? But eventually...well I have TONS of head canons about the verse already lol. Like Charles reunites with his sister, and they retake the throne from Kurt and get his revenge on Cain. And of course he falls in love with Erik (Erik’s already half there now) who stops being constipated with feelings...but no, we don’t get that far in this fic :D :D :D

Do you think Steve and Bucky watch TV at all, or are they strictly go-out-to-the-theater movie people?

I think they watch TV mostly for sports; sometimes for news; and that in general they prefer newspapers or live whatever - live sports, live talks, etc. They wouldn’t have been trained to sit for television the way we are, but I think it’s entirely possible that, like, Steve gets Bucky the entire run of The Shadow radio drama from the 1930s and that Bucky loves the royal hell out of it.

Don’t feel bad! Hank Williams is an acquired taste. My mother is a born and bred Southerner and she can’t stand Williams’ music. I like it, but it did take me some time to learn to appreciate it.

Thank you! I am trying to understand his influence in music, because here in Italy he is totally unknown, for what I saw, and I really had no clue who he is and how did he influenced modern music... so I guess I’ll have to listen more accurately! =)

This is the Sherlock and John story I've been wanting to tell for a very long time. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I have enjoyed writing it.

This is probably the longest fic I have ever read (apart from some series) but I am quite glad that I managed over 300.000 words in only 3,5 days, although I am working full-time and really have not much leisure time. But as it is, this fic is one of those you cannot put away, once you have started to read it. It is also one of those fics you postpone endlessly because of the high amount of words and regret that later endlessly, because you could have read this treasure so much earlier. Well, I would like to ad that this fic covers a lot of different things, which are not mentioned in the summary or the tags. You should read it, when you are interested in background characterization of John and Sherlock and when you are interested in their childhood and teenage years. John’s characterization is amazing. I really liked it. It is an attempt to describe his repressed bisexual character in a very profound way. Furthermore, I really like the additional characters Sherrinford Holmes and Neville St. Clair. As the WIP ends at the beginning of their relationship, I hope there is more to develop between them.

Wow. She would pull awesome, menacing faces manipulating particularly large objects. In the wee hours after last night's post I found myself stuck on Milla Jovovich but...Lena. Wow. Hmmm, works well with Helen as older Mags too so, bonus points.
