THE SPELL TO DOMINATE YOUR ENEMY

You must have either a statue of the Nina Negra, if you have a statue of the Nina Negra, you must be able to remove her scythe from her hand.

You will need plastic gloves, 9 coins, an empty coffee can with a lid, a brown paper bag, black pen, cemetery dirt from a fresh grave, black mustard seed, some vinegar, a cigar, 3 red flowers, a can of beer, and 2 black 7 day Santisima Muerte candles.

Now you wear the rubber gloves when you go to cemetery and find a fresh grave and fill the empty coffee can almost to the top and place the lid on it, and leave the 9 coins where you took the cemetery dirt from and say:

Nina Negra, I thank thee for the use of your dirt and I leave payment of 9 coins for your treasure.

Now at midnight on a monday night, when it is tuesday morning wear rubber gloves and take the brown paper bag and cut 6 pieces of paper from it, and write the name of your enemy 4 times, put some cemetery dirt and some black mustard seed in the paper, fold it up away from you and place it deep into the coffee can filled with cemetery dirt and say:

Nina Negra, I offer the spirit and soul of (target name). Repeat 4 times and put the black mustard seed and vinegar in the coffee can and place lid on top of it, place on your altar next to the right side of the Nina Negra and then you remove her scythe and write the name of your enemy 4 times on 1 side of the paper and on the other side write the problem you have with this person and roll it so it will be around the scythe and place back in the hand of the Nina Negra.

Now take screwdriver and on both candles push 2 holes deep into the candle wax, then write your enemy name 4 times on 4 pieces of brown paper bag and roll it up and stick into the 2 holes you made in each candle and use the screwdriver to push the papers deep into the wax, then offer Nina Negra the 3 red flowers, the cigar and the can of beer and say this prayer from deep in your heart with all the faith you have in the Nina Negra

Where to Buy Cheap Spell Supplies: Hoodoo/Brujeria Edition

i’ve seen so many resource list out there about where you can find cheap spell supplies, but their never about folk magic. I live in a very liberal place and state, but it is still difficult to find stores that sell products catered to Afro-religions or Brujeria that are affordable. Botanicas are great for staple items like oils, candles, honeys, and powders, but I wanted to make a list for more creative and specfic spells. Here’s my resource list for all my witches out there who practice folk magic, Hoodoo, or brujeria!

1. Party stores/Toy aisles at department stores: both go hand in and hand because most party stores are marketed towards children’s birthdays. Both places are a JACKPOT for spell supplies. Some things I’ve found and what I use them for include:

 Toy Cop Badges: These can be used for law stay away spells, justice spells, immigration cases, and anyone you want to protect from the law or send the law for.

 Toy Money: I use these for money spells to write on, burn, leave as offerings, or shred to put in mojo bags and satchets.

 Dolls: Pretty self explanatory. Dolls can be used as a stand in for any person you want to influence. Cheap barbies are perfect because they are big enough to put in a lot of different positions. Speciality dolls like pregnant dolls could be used for fertility, or to protect new mothers.

Toy Phones: Need to do a lover return spell or call/text me spell? Perfect! Get yourself a toy cell phone, put it in the center of the plate, write a petition to who you want to call, put it under the phone, dress it with herbs, oils, and honey, and sugar. Put your energy into the spell for 7 days and then discard. 

2. Dollar Store: The dollar store is a no brainer because everything is a dollar and if you’re trying to be a bruja on a budget, it’s a no brainer. Here are some things you can get there that you might not have thought of.

 White plates, cups, bowls: White can be used for anything. You could use these dishes to put on your ancestor altar, give to your deities, or simply to do your spells on. 

Fabric flowers: Perfect offerings or decorations for any altars, and if you can’t have fresh flowers or plants for any reason these are a great subsitute

Emergency candles: Most dollar stores sell something called emergency candles, usually found with the novena (religious) candles in the store. These are white, cheap, household candles that have saved me when I’m in a pinch and need to do a spell but I don’t have time to get new supplies. 

Craft Aisle: You can get a bunch of helpful stuff in this aisle like jars, googley eyes (can be stuck in a jar with a petition to make someone be discovered for lying, cheating, etc) Mini plastic toy animals (can be used for all kinds of stuff. Sheep=tame sheep spells, chicken=protection spell, etc) Popsicle sticks (can be used for making crosses, building boxes, etc) Felt fabric squares (make dolls)

3. Craft Stores: Craft stores are pretty expensive and most of the main stuff you can find here you can get at a party store or dollar store with the exception of during a holiday....guys... I am a financial disaster during halloween. Some ideas include 

Halloween: Bottles, jars, coffins (perfect for darker spells like “your relationship will die), toy insects (put in a jar with a doll, and herbs to cause nightmares) black candles that are CHEAP, Skulls of all shapes sizes and materials (perfect for head working spells), SO MUCH STUFF! If you guys are on a budget wait until the end of halloween and head on over to your local craft store and cash out $$$$!!

Valentines Day: A perfect time to collect all things love magic including heart shaped bottles, roses (fake or real), and chocolates for offerings.

Christmas: Theres nothing specifically around this time that I’ve found useful BUT, everything goes on sale around this time, so this is the perfect time to go ahead and pick up anything thats laying around from previous holidays.

4. Hispanic Grocery Stores: You can get some serious bulk herbs and bigger grocery stores! I buy the more obscure herbs online like fiver finger grass, but things I have found at my local Mexican grocery store include:

Mugwort: Good for psychic spells, divination, and dream work

Bulk Bay Leaves: I put bay leaves in just about everything, so I need a ton of them to sustain me and i usually get them here.

Alum Stone: Used in shut up or tapa boca spells to pucker someone’s mouth and shut them up.

Various Chili Peppers: I love peppers because they’re so versatile! They can be used in defensive spells like revenge spells or break up spells, but they can also be used for other things like fiery wall of protection.

Florida Water: Almost all Mexican grocery stores sell this, and its way cheaper than buying it online or from a “spiritual” supplier.

5. Thrift stores: When you go thrifting its best not have a specific thing in mind, but you can find some really unique witchy things at thrift stores for cheap. Some things I’ve found include:

Vintage perfume bottles: used on my altar

Candle holders: literally almost all of mine are from thrift stores

Altar cloths: Things like silk scarves or cool fabric could be used. All of mine are from thrift stores.

Spell for Motivation

You Will Need:

🧨 a red glass or plastic bottle

🧨 a short string of fairy/christmas lights

Directions:

🧨 Place the lights into the bottle, and plug them in

🧨 Hold the bottle in your hands, or lie down and place it over your chest or heart. Focus your energy; imagine the radiating red light of the bottle absorbing into you. Now let that energy expand throughout the rest of your body

🧨 Meditate like this until you feel energized, or use this as an enchanting night light while you sleep

*Red is a powerful color. It signifies passion and strength. It's bright, eye catching, and full of energy. Although the color red is a very popular color in sex magick, it can also be used to enhance motivation. The color red holds a fierce energy!

Simple spell :)

I probably did this wrong but idc its a simple spell/prayer that I personally do

What you need:

Necklace with gem or locket with sigil inside or pendent

That’s it

Take your swingy item of choice and dangle/spin it around your hand

Then close your eyes quietly chant whatever you wish to happen 3 times

Next either end it there, add a chant of a different thing 3 times, or finish it with “please |insert deity| guide my will”

Hold pendent/necklace in hand for moment of silence

Finally press it against your forehead and repeat final words

Open eyes and wear it during the day.

That’s all!! Just a simple spell/prayer for good luck and it doesn’t involve anything!

You could add candles or water or whatever you wish instead of circling your hand but I currently don’t own any so I just use my hand.

✨Protection Charm✨

Here’s a quick and easy but effective way to protect yourself(especially from unwanted entities like spirits)

Supplies:

A white candle

A charm with a string or chain

Instructions:

Hold the charm in your hand and clear your mind

Light your white candle

Hang the charm from the chain/string into the flame

Focus on what you want to be protected from/what the intent of the charm is. Do this until you feel the energy connect with the charm

Blow out candle and wear your charm

To activate your charm focus on it and imagine a bubble/sheild/light coming from your soul and surrounding you. Nothing can break this sheild and you are safe

jar alternatives!

because we as witches use far too many jars. why not switch things up? 🍯⚱️🍷

budget friendly!:

- glass or plastic soda bottles! 🍾those with a colour to them can be used for colour correspondence, too. bonus is that they're recyclable!

- takeaway containers! 🍜 not too pretty, but very functional, and you know how they just accumulate? plus, they come in any number of shapes and sizes.

- old pill bottles. 💊 they're not transparent, and they're pretty commonplace and won't attract questions, so they're good for closet witches.

- plastic sandwich bags. 🍞just. they're good.

- old lip balm containers. 💄 I have a hollowed out Chapstick full of rosemary, and an old EOS container with a protection / self love spell in it. no one questions them. just be careful when people ask to borrow lip balm!

- you can sew fabric sachets from old t-shirts you don't want ! 👕

- old pencil cases and jewelry boxes also work well for closet witches ! 📿💍✏️✒️

environmental!:

- hollow out a capsicum.🍅this is especially good if you want to bury it. same goes for apples and oranges.

- paper or origami boxes. 🎁 small and perfect. paper is biodegradable, and you can easily use scrap paper from work or school.

- tissue boxes. 🗳 Or even just tissues lol. pretty self explanatory: they're biodegradable and boxes.

- egg shells!! little bottles.

just for a change:

- vases ⚱️subtle and pretty.

- tea cups ☕️GET that cozy, eclectic aesthetic.

- tea pots 🍵 because you probably have too many, I know I do

- flower pots 🌺 terrific for green witches with pots that look pretty, but aren't functional

- organza bags 💰 shit's just cute y'all.

- paint pots 🎨A++ For art witches !

- cleaned nail polish bottles 💅good for glamours especially!

- coin purses👛good for spells you need to carry, since it won't shatter and it's subtle.

There are some very important details that no one seems to clear up...

So, I’ve have a good deal of cursing planned for my piece-o-shit father. I’ve been doing a lot of research and it’s really hard to find any kind of curse intensity to protection guidance. He’s been fucking my life up enough I don’t want backlash from curses on top of that.

All I really have rn is a sachet of rosemary, a enchanted protection stone, and a bubble shield.

Basically, the question is should I up the protection spells with the intensity of the curse? and if so does anyone has strong protection spells that aren’t going to cost me an arm and a leg? (I’m broke af)
