Spell for Motivation

You Will Need:

🧨 a red glass or plastic bottle

🧨 a short string of fairy/christmas lights

Directions:

🧨 Place the lights into the bottle, and plug them in

🧨 Hold the bottle in your hands, or lie down and place it over your chest or heart. Focus your energy; imagine the radiating red light of the bottle absorbing into you. Now let that energy expand throughout the rest of your body

🧨 Meditate like this until you feel energized, or use this as an enchanting night light while you sleep

*Red is a powerful color. It signifies passion and strength. It's bright, eye catching, and full of energy. Although the color red is a very popular color in sex magick, it can also be used to enhance motivation. The color red holds a fierce energy!

Witch Tip: Motivation

Sometimes motivation comes after doing the thing. Motivation can me manufactured by /doing/ Sometimes the way to get motivated to do more is by just making yourself do a little. Procrastination can build on itself making starting feel impossible. This does’t always work for things that require a specific energy (spells, intuitive reading, etc), but it’s useful for mundane things that can be used in your magic later on. Some easy things to make yourself do when you don’t feel like doing anything: - Tidy your alter/the space you do most of your magic in - Draw a tarot card and read the guide book for that card - Pull some weeds or sow some seeds in your garden - Go for a walk, make a point of identifying at least a few plants - Study. Read/listen to something educational. Literally anything educational. Learning new things is never a bad thing. Podcasts are my go to. For some reason, Tarot for the Wild Soul always leaves me feeling like I can go do anything! - Cook a meal, and don’t feel like you /need/ to do any kitchen magic

Often you’ll find that you want to keep going after you start. And some things you can do when you /do/ have some magical motivation to help your future self out: - Brew some motivational or energizing tea/potion (citrus, peppermint, and ginger are a few good ingredients) and freeze it in plastic cups (you can put all the tea-ice in freezer bags after they’re frozen to save freezer space) - Make yourself an ‘energy battery’ by enchanting an object with your energy, plus a spell or something to keep the energy in there until you need it later’ - Craft some motivational, energizing, study, cleaning etc, sigils and put them somewhere for when you need a boost.

Yes, sometimes we just need a break. But if I took a break every time i didn’t feel motivated, i would never do anything ever. So just go through the motions and the motions might turn into motivation.

Upcoming full moon clarity spell/spread ideas?? Muahhh 🤳👁🌚

Just the usual! It does what I need it to do, plus I made it so I work well within it. 

But, I’ve got enough clarity at the moment, what I really need to do is some motivation and prioritization work lol. So my own plans for the moon may be some plant work and something to upkeep the workings I did in January’s full moons. They worked well (almost too well) and I want to maintain the stride I’ve been hitting.
