It’s funny how the heroes condemn The Hawk for trying to erase one timeline to create another, when the heroes are guilty of the same thing. After all, Marinette possesses TWO time travel miraculouses and has used them to avoid the consequences for her actions. Who is she to decide which timeline deserves to exist and which timeline doesn’t?

Well, yeah, but neither were Marinette or Adrien decision.

In Chat Blanc, from current timeline Marinette’s POV, she got dragged to a destroyed future where she was told by Bunnix it HAD to be fixed. No exceptions.

We know that Marinette always defers to adult authorities (Miss Bustier, Master Fu, Her parents), so with this she defaults to deferring to Bunnix. Who is both an adult in an authoritative position as the literal person who watches over the timeline and as a hero from the future who “Knows how things should be”

Marinette is going to listen to Bunnix cause she’s being given lots of reasons to know that what Bunnix says is truth and fact, that there is no other way then what Bunnix says.

So she goes and fixes the timeline and all of this would solidify her deference towards adults, cause Bunnix was, in fact, Right.

But at the end of the day, she didn’t choose to destroy the timeline, she HAD TO, to preserve the timeline and save Billions of lives.

In Ephemeral it’s different; From Marinette’s POV in the first timeline, Shadow Noir turned up and then she texted Luka about getting Sass.

Luka then makes the decision that they must go back further then the five minute limit, sass makes it happen.

And from the POV of the now current timeline Marinette, She arrived at the Eiffel Tower to go through with her “Get Chats identity” plan and they don’t even get a minute before the sky erupts into Time fuckery destruction. Leaving them confused and very concerned.

They don’t even know what caused that and they’ll probably never get an answer.

So, ultimately, Marinette did not make ANY decisions to destroy timelines. But do you know who did?

Anyway Jellie is not a Normal Real Cat from Earth as she claims to be. I simply do not believe it I mean LOOK AT HER:

LOOK AT HER and tell me she is not some ancient but minor deity who manifested herself into the form of a cat to protect Scar (because who among us would not manifest themself into the form of a cat to protect Scar if they were an ancient but minor deity). 

She is AT LEAST as intelligent as a human, probably more, and she has one mission which she will fulfill at any and all costs.
