            Everyone on the ship was panicking, including Rapunzel. Her breath was shaky, and she almost tripped whenever she tried to run. She was asked to find anyone injured and bring them back to med bay, and that was such a big responsability for her, a lot more than she's ever handled before. 

            Then, she saw him, lying on the floor and obviously injured. Perhaps even too much to be moved. She quickly kneeled next to him, checking his wound. She had to act fast if she wanted to save him, and pray no one else would be around to witness what she was about to do. 

                        " It's okay. You're gonna be okay. "

Leonard knew that he wasn't the most approachable looking guy. The tattoos and the eyebrow piercing, the tongue stud and the leather jacket -- all of those things would have been enough on their own, but his generally grumpy disposition didn't help either. As it was, he was left with relatively few friends and spent most lunchtimes sitting on a table alone with a book.

Which honestly, was just the way he damn well liked it. If they were so terrified of him just because of how he looked, he had no interest in talking to them anyway.

He glanced up from the book he was currently reading, aware that the cafeteria was now almost full and there was a kid with a lunch tray and nowhere to sit. Ignoring his instincts, he snapped the book shut and spoke.

"You can sit here, kid."

"You're back!" she exclaimed brightly, bouncing over to throw her arms around him.  "Yes, I missed you," she said, hugging him tight.

[[ Man, I don't even.  This little cutie.  I love them so much.  Talking to the mun is fun, and we don't do it enough.  But I'm so fucking stilted about it.  I barely know HOW to hold a conversation sometimes.  But I want to.  God, I want to.  The mun is so sweet, sometimes there's not even a line between Chekov and the mun (well.  Regular Chekov.  Mirror!Chekov is a gloriously nasty little shit and I love it).  I want to just scoop them up and carry them around like a tribble, keep them in a pouch like a kangaroo baby and never let go.  Even when I'm distracted or sleeping too much and don't reply to our threads as quickly as I want, getting replies from them makes my heart flutter.  Sometimes I just want to cry, because they're so fucking flawless, and I'm so damaged that I don't know how to make friendship overtures properly. ]]
