(Who's Who: The Definitive Directory of the DC Universe #4): I've made it to the Cs on this Directory. Considering how long that took, I think i'll be here for months. Is it worth it to do this? I don't know. But I'm not stopping until I hit the Gs (I find A-G at least make a nice flow of letters). So here, representing the Cs, we have Cain of the House of Mystery, The Calculator, Calendar Man, Chemo and Chemical King.

Cain is a weird one; since he's incredibly funny, but he only shows up for horror comics (meaning i'll never get to really read about him). Chemo is another weird one, the living plastic shell that spews chemicals everywhere (with no moving arms, at least back in the pre-crisis days). Calendar Man and The Calculator are two old D-list villians I really like, and Chemical King is a character I wish I knew more about (and who I wish didn't die).

I asked for Batman: Brave and The Bold on DVD for Christmas this year. I haven't seen that show since I was at least 9, and yet I still have find memories of it. It may have helped inspire my love of the 60s style of storytelling in comics. And it definitely introduced me to many characters and villians. The Metal Men, Chemo, The Brain, the Silver Age Green Arrow, Blue Beetle (both Jaime Reyes and Ted Kord), Bat-Mite, Plastic Man, Red Tornado, etc. And the show had a tie-in comic, which I once saw at my local library! The tie-in comic introduced me to Sugar and Spike, plus Kid Eternity and General Immortus! I hope that one day the show can get an anniversary special. Because it was genius. Maybe one day they'll remaster the video game it got, and port it to a modern console. I'd really like that.

Chemo is a bizarre villian, but he shows up enough and plagues both Superman and the Metal Men. This walking, presumably barely sentient plastic mold, just full of millions of different chemicals. K do find it annoying that his name is spelled the same way as the beginning of chemotherapy, so now I have to always be thinking of cancer. But his name actually comes from Chemistry, so it's pronounced different. Still, good luck searching for chemo online. You're just gonna find cancer stuff, and that messes with me.

The new episode of Legends of Tomorrow was great but I wanna talk about the promo for next week. Is that giant green thing supposed to be this show's version of Chemo?? Enhanced by Palmer's technology? That would be awesome!
