@centofu created this fantastic timeline on twitter, which very helpfully lines up the order of events through the most recent Link Click episodes. Any corrections to this timeline can be found on their original thread.
A big thank you to @shantechni for pointing this out on their longer post detailing many of the new juicy details fans have learned since the release of the Bridon Arc finale.
it’s such a small thing but it’s really bittersweet how Chen Bin’s wife noted how much Chen Bin wanted a baby girl. It’s such a deliberate character note considering how she also mentions that gender testing is no longer allowed. China—and even more so, Chinese daughters—is still dealing with the trauma of how the one-child policy hurt girls so badly. China’s recent history of preferring boys over girls has really devastated generations and deprived baby girls of favor, family, or even life. Even just that small and fleeting character note they gave Chen Bin really stuck with me all these years. Man, I miss Link Click looking unflinchingly and compassionately at Chinese society.
Spent way too long making this edit but I'm so done with it🙂had to force myself to stop working on it before I made more changes.
Yes I'm still coping with the absence of new episodes in my day to day life, how are you😃
I love that Chen Bin says Cheng Xiaoshi can't show himself to Lu Guang like this and gives Cheng new clothes that make him look extremely attractive.
Bro knows what he's doing.
Bin Chen is a great wingman who ships Cheng Xiaoshi and Lu Guang.
as tragic as the entirety of link click is, i kid you not the only times i've ever actually cried genuinely are chen bin. his funeral and his apologies before he fell.
he's such a minor character in the show, dying on literally the first episode. we barely know anything about him. we don't even know his wife's name. but while we know so little, we know he had so much. his wife, the daughter he wished for and loved before she was even born, officer xiao, all the other officers in the police force. he had so much. he loved so much. so much loved him. and yet, he still had to go.
GUYS .
