Cherrihusk, Cherridust and Cherrihuskerdust (I think sone call them Angel's angels which I find funny and cute)
Cherri and Husk give me the vibe of people who probably wouldn't have become friends if they hadn't met through a mutual friend, just because the things they do for fun are so different. They can both appreciate a good bar/club scene, but Cherri feels like she'd gravitate to the dance floor or get into fights for fun, and obviously Husk would be busy getting drunk. So I love that they could have easily ended up disliking each other, and instead they're becoming friends.
On a bittersweet note, I like to imagine that Husk and Cherri cuddle together in Angel's absence. Husk strikes me as someone who'd be really grumpy about physical affection because being a cat doesn't mean he wants to be treated like one, but Angel and Cherri weren't subtle about how tactile their relationship is, so I feel like he'd make an exception for her. I'd also love to see them bond a bit independently of their mutual friendship, but I wouldn't mind if Angel stays the thing that ties them together, either. Friendships can work in all kinds of ways.
The platonic (or queerplatonic) ideal, in my opinion. I love friends who are comfortable with physical affection, and I love that they can just hang out and cuddle, and it's just treated like a casual thing. No one's weird about it, no attention is drawn to it. It's just a thing they do. And it's adorable. But they're also comfortable with sexual humor, and I love that too.
On the flipside, I feel like they've done a threesome before. Or would. Cherri would absolutely be down for it, but I can't decide if Angel would feel weird about putting friends in the context of sex. When was the last time he even had sex for fun and not for work or self-destruction...?
Terminating that line of thought. Suffice to say, I could see them being down to pull in a third. This was not meant to be a segue into the next card but I'm weirdly kinda talking myself into it right now.
I kind of touched on this earlier, but I love how Cherri and Husk initially look like they're being set up to fight over who Angel's "better" friend is. And then it's like, nah, everyone's cool. They both love Angel, and Angel loves them. They don't all agree on everything, but that's fine.
These three strike me as a full triad; only romantic between Husk and Angel, but I could maybe see Cherri getting in on it sexually? Would depend on if Husk was down for it. At minimum, Cherri and Angel need to get Husk in for a cuddle pile. Or Cherri and Husk need to get Angel back for a cuddle pile, depending on where we are in the timeline. Either way, I need a cuddle pile.
