I firmly believe that when miguel's eating cherrys and stuff while angy he jus chomps down so hard that the pit is in smithereens and he has to gulp it down cuz he's too proud to try and get it out

Stratifying Cherry Pits

After harvesting all those sour cherries, we saved a bunch of the pits to attempt germination. Step 1 -  we need break the seed dormancy by simulating winter. These pits are lightly covered mix of moist sphagnum moss and sand. We popped the trays in a 40F fridge and plan is to basically leave them there for the next 3 to 4 months (but remoisten as needed). Fingers crossed on a germination update later in the year...

Along with all the magic of cherries (I'm biased, as I love them!), cherry pits are no for tossing once that cherry is eaten.

The pits can be used as divination and fortune telling aids, and can even be carved if you have the patience.

In spell bottles, cherry pits can be used in place of poisons.

And, again with the carving, the pits can be carved (or drawn on) to enchantment them as poisonous talismans.
