My braces have been tightened. And I got new rubber bands. I hate rubber bands. It feels restrictive and it’s like being stripped of a big comfort (singing) because my jaw can’t move as freely anymore.

on the bright side my dad let me listen to, and sing along to, The Great Gatsby. He also got me a cherry slushie, so now I can be Veronica Sawyer (she says she prefers Cherry to Coke and same)
