I absolutely love how chaotic the french production of Charlie and the chocolate factory the musical is.

First Jerry and Cherry are my favs now. I love them. They're clearly horny for each other and Cherry slapping Jerry's ass is not a thing I expected in a kids show.

Also Jerry dabbing is cursed. And I love how they made him jealous of Mr Beauregard when he flirts with Cherry.

Also Wonka and Mrs Teevea are something else lmao.

Mrs Teevea being thirsty for Wonka is hilarious and them almost kissing after Violet explodes is so funny and awkward.

Also there's a lot a sexual jokes for a kids show and it is amazing.

Basically the french prod said no to actually showing Veruca being dismembered by squirrels but yes to horny adults onstage and I love it for that.
