Does EJ experience heat/rut?
If so, would he and Chev ever help each other out? How would that go?
Yes, absolutely!
So this AU isn't necessarily omegaverse since it doesn't quite fit the criteria, it's still pretty similar!
Jack does go into heat AND rut, and his behavior varies depending on which one he's experiencing.
When he's in rut, he's in a dominant, near feral state, similar to when he goes into a feral state while hunting. He has more control over himself in this state than he does when he's hunting, but he's pretty much running on pure sexual instinct. He needs to fuck.
When he's in heat, he's a lot more submissive and needy. He doesn't like people seeing him like this, but he's gotten more comfortable with it thanks to Toby and Chev. (It's not a masculinity thing, he just doesn't feel safe being that vulnerable.)
He and Chev do help each other out when they go through heat/rut, in fact their first time together was actually when Jack was going through a rut! It was a little scary for her since she has a bit of trauma with aggression due to a incident years prior, but he was able to make her feel comfortable and they had a good time! I actually have a short one-shot in the works for this encounter >:3c
As for Chev's heat, she normally just locks herself away because she has a weird shame about her lust. But ever since she became fwb with Toby and Jack, they made her more comfortable with herself, and now she spends nearly every full moon with them.

I had a Q&A thing on insta stories, so here's some info about them!
Jaiden:
2 years old, born when Chev was 35
inherited Jack's complexion, tail, thick eyebrows, and eyes (?)
inherited Chev's hair, horns, moles, resting bitch face, and autism
she has a good mix of both parent's personalities! she's quiet, reserved, and calculating like Jack, but has Chev's attitude, fierce loyalty, and she's an overthinker just like mommy <3
her eyes look like they're completely black, until she looks to the side. kind of like a dog
she's a selective mute, but can understand speech very well
her motor skills and strength are far beyond her age level
she's VERY protective of her little sister
Piper thinks Jaiden doesn't know how to talk, and tries to teach her. Jaiden just plays along and pretends that Piper is actually helping her how to talk lol
she's also very responsible and helpful around the house (as much as she can be as a two year old), much to the dismay of Chev. Chev was parent-ified as a teen, and doesn't want Jaiden to fall down that same path. She just wants her daughter to be happy and carefree
she's cannibalistic like both of her parents, but her apatite for human flesh is about as big as Chev's (so like once every other week)

Piper:
1 year old, born when Chev was 36
inherited Toby's eye mole, hair, eye shape, and his SASS
inherited Chev's eye's complexion, and ability to grow her hair and nails stupidly fast
she's LOUD.
Toby named her Piper because she was born screaming. she had PIPES
she doesn't have any powers at the moment, but she gains some of Chev's vocal powers a few years in the future. the first ability she gained: hyper screech (she saw a big ass spider and nearly shattered the windows when she screamed)
she will also go through a demon transformation when she turns 18, just like her mom
she has most of both parent's mental illnesses (autism, ADHD, mild schizophrenia, and mild Tourette Syndrome that'll worsen over time) but she and her parents handle it very well!
her motor skills are behind for a one year old, but she can already talk very well! she also doesn't shut up, just like her dad <3
though even though she can't quite walk or grab things properly, she can move, and crawls all over everything
she definitely has Toby's mouthy sass with Chev's insult skills. she will destroy you verbally... that being said, she gets in trouble at school frequently lol
Toby tried teaching Piper how to handle and throw axes while she was still a toddler, but Chev stopped him until she was a teenager

Toby didn't treat Jack or Chev any differently, he just pouted for a while as he helped with the pregnancy. He still loved and treated Jaiden as his own since Jack is also his partner!
Chev was lowkey pissed when she got immediately pregnant with Piper after recovering from birthing Jaiden. "yall are pulling out from now on, im TIRED"

AU Lore Timeline
Okay there is a LOT of stuff for me to remember, and it's difficult to keep timelines straight, so I'm just gonna make a whole post dedicated to keeping my shit together LMAO
This will be mostly in the POV of Chev to make things easier, and will be organized according to her age. I don't want to use a specific year for the timeline since this AU doesn't take place at a specific time. It's just generally in the 2010s/2020s, but y'know, a different timeline.

16 y/o
Chev moved in with her friend out in the country, living in a trailer in the woods,
She wanders out further into the woods to find an old dilapidated house, and meets a 17 year old freshly proxy-fied Ticci Toby, He was there on some sort of mission, but whatever he was waiting for never showed up, and he ended up just talking to her instead. Chev was terrified of him because she was pretty meek at this point in time, but she talked to him like he wanted.
Toby began stalking Chev, watching her closely. She frequently visited that old house in the woods to calm the voices in her head, and Toby would pretend it was coincidence that they were there at the same time.
Toby was dating Clockwork at the time, but they had mutually broken up within a few months of dating (He didn't have feelings for Chev at this time, he was just being obsessive and crazy)
17y/o
Chev eventually moved back with her parents, the loneliness of the woods and her worsening hallucinations getting to her.
Toby was irritated that his new "friend" left, but found her rather quickly. He didn't make himself known yet, he had a feeling that she would come back to the woods pretty soon...
And he was right.
Chev was kicked out just a week before her 18th birthday, and she returned to the trailer in the woods. But when she got there, her friend was nowhere to be found, and instead a handwritten note was waiting for her.
Unbeknownst to her, Toby had taken care of everything. He got rid of her shitty friend, handled food and bills, and waited for her to return to the old dilapidated house to welcome her back.
They officially became friends, and Chev still didn't know that he was the one taking care of her housing situation. She didn't question it anyways, she had nothing to lose and was desperate for any kind of stability, not caring where it came from.
This was also when she met EJ and Jeff, introduced to her by Toby.
She felt like she was going absolutely insane. First her mental health was worsening, and now her insane serial killer friend introduced her to even more serial killers. And one's a demon or monster or something!! This was too weird...
She was still pretty meek and timid at this point, and she had no idea how to set boundaries or how to walk away when she's uncomfortable, so she accepted them as her friends. She was scared shitless though.
18 y/o
Soon after turning 18, she gained her demon abilities, and was feral for days.
Toby wasn't in the old house when she went through her first transformation, but discovered her days later under the old chain bridge. Her body twisted and monstrous, drenched in blood as she feasted on the pile of bodies she had accumulated within the few days she went missing.
It was lowkey hot
He tried to approach her, but she didn't recognize him and tried to attack him. He ended up leaving her alone and waiting for her to come out of her feral state. He was used to it because he had to deal with something similar with EJ.
Chev eventually came out of her feral state, her body going back to normal, and she had the absolute worst breakdown of her life. Thankfully Toby was there for her this time, but he wasn't sure how to handle emotions like this, so he just kind of sat there next to her on the couch, his hand lightly on her shoulder as she sobbed and hyperventilated. Which was fine with Chev, she wasn't used to being comforted and was pretty adverse to touch, so this was perfect for now.
Chev eventually decided to leave her trailer in the woods and move to the city. The threat of being caught as a killer, the newly established urban legend The Chain Bridge Crawler, was too close for comfort. And this time she told Toby before leaving so she could keep him in the loop, to keep him close.
19 y/o
Chev and Toby quickly became best friends, and she began to be better friends with EJ and Jeff. Her and Jeff's frenemy relationship was just starting to form because he loved messing with her.
Chev also finally began to gain confidence! Her powers were still new to her, and she can't control them super well just yet, but she feels stronger and she can protect herself now! And now that she's eating better, working out regularly, and isn't malnourished anymore, she went through second puberty and finally gained her curvy figure!
She got a job at a restaurant, got a decent house close to the woods (different woods from before), and gained access to the Slendermansion portal thanks to Toby. This is when she met a lot of the creeps!
There, she met Nina, LJ, BEN, Clockwork, Hoodie, Masky, Kate, and XVirus.
And just when she thought everything was finally looking up for her... everyone vanished.
The Blackout.
The portal closed. Toby wasn't answering her phone calls or texts. She tried EJ and Jeff too, and still nothing. It was sudden, no warning whatsoever. She and Toby had plans that day, and suddenly everyone is ignoring her. She spiraled and thought this was her fault somehow.
She tried for months to get in contact with any of the creeps, and went into the woods every day and hoped that the portal would work. It never did.
After about six months, she got into a couple of relationships. She was so mentally vulnerable and lonely, she gave a chance to the first decent looking guys that asked her out. That was a massive mistake. The first relationship was mentally abusive, and the second one was even worse, getting physical. Both of these relationships only lasted a couple of months. The second one hurt her badly, and left her traumatized. She was put off of dating and sex for years. (This will be explained in a JeffChev post later on)
She became a recluse after that, only leaving the house for work. She even gave up checking the portal to see if it worked. She felt abandoned and just accepted her fate of being alone forever.
As all of this was going on with Chev; Toby and the other proxies were off doing various missions, all seemingly related to each other, but were forced to keep quiet about it. They were following a cult, picking off a few members for information. They never figured out why they were doing this, but Toby figured it had something to do with Chev somehow, since he was forced to cut communication with her around the same time he was assigned these missions.
The other creeps were also forced to cut contact with her just in case, even though a lot of them didn't necessarily work for the Slenderman. He just had a lot of influence and power, so they had no choice.
Toby and EJ dated for a while during the blackout, but broke up on good terms. Neither of them were mentally ready enough for a relationship, so they remained friends. They actually became closer as friends after dating.
20 y/o
Chev eventually got used to her new life, just working and going home, rinse, and repeat. Despite her growing depression, she was still able to take care of herself, and even expanded her gothic wardrobe. She didn't want to give up on herself just yet...
Then she received a weird jumbled text from Toby, and an extremely blurry picture that looked like it was taken from his pocket. She tried calling and texting him back frantically, hopeful that she might be able to finally hear his voice again... but he didn't answer.
She ran to the woods, her heart pounding in her ears as she approached the portal... and it finally opened. She sprinted down the path towards the Slendermansion with happy/rage tears streaming down her face. She was either going to kiss someone or kill someone, she wasn't sure yet.
When she finally approached the mansion, the very first person she saw was Jeff, smoking on the porch. Before she could even think, her body moved on it's own, running up to the pale faced killer, damn near tackling him, and hugged him in a death grip as she sobbed into his chest.
Jeff almost threw her off of him, not recognizing her at first because she looks a lot different than she did a year ago, but finally recognized her when she spoke. He was confused as fuck, because they were never that close before, and he had never seen her show this much emotion before, but he was also pretty smug that he was the first one to see her after being cut off for so long. He was going to torment Toby with this for the rest of his life~
This was also about the time Jeff began feeling attracted to Chev, whether he wanted to admit it to himself or not.
She entered the mansion shortly after attacking Jeff, and looked for Toby. He came out of his room bruised and bandaged up, but Chev didn't register that he was "hurt", she was too blinded with emotion. She didn't even say hello, and immediately hug-tackled him to the ground, then quickly switched to putting him in a headlock, and choked him out as she sobbed and scolded him for abandoning her. Toby was surprised at her behavior, he had never seen her like this before, but he lowkey loved being manhandled by her, even though he had a near death experience just a few days ago that he was still healing from.
She wasn't super close with EJ yet, but she did hug him tightly when she saw him. They became best friends shortly after this, making Chev, Toby, and EJ officially a bestie trio!
21 y/o
Chev was so afraid of losing everyone again, she agreed to do some proxy work in exchange for living at the mansion part-time. She was very good at finding people, hunting them down and restraining them for a real proxy to show up and do the dirty work, but she will will kill if she has to. She doesn't like to, but she will. It wouldn't be the first time, and it certainly wouldn't be the last...
Chev had gotten much closer to Jeff and Nina in this time.
She and Jeff were in a whirlwind frenemy relationship; at each other's throats one minute, then chilling and laughing with each other the next.
With Nina, she helped Chev find out that she was much more extroverted than she thought, she just needed to feel safe enough to be herself. She helped her by taking her out every weekend, going to bars, clubs, concerts, and raves. Turns out Chev is the type to dance battle people in the club with no hesitation lol
Chev finally fully gained her current personality: hella confident, extremely stubborn, pretty chill but will snap at you in an instant if you cross her, short temper, and a huge sweetheart to her friends.
Around summertime is when Toby and Chev finally sleep together, becoming friends with benefits, and helping Chev get over her fear of sex and general intimacy. (TicciChev one-shot coming soon!!)
This went on for about a month before EJ found out, and he immediately wanted in.
EJ still had feelings for Toby after the breakup, and he recently began to develop feelings for Chev too, so he took this opportunity to try and figure himself out.
Toby was a little conflicted about it. He was insanely obsessed with Chev and was protective and jealous over her... but at the same time he still had feelings for EJ too. So instead of turning it down, he decided to let it ride. He needed to figure himself out too. That's what your 20's are supposed to be all about, right?
Their three-way fwb relationship was a secret from everyone, and it went on for about six months before Jeff found out about it and got jealous.
Jeff pestered Chev for months to be fwb with him, but got rejected without reason every time. Until one day, at a Christmas party, she finally broke down and told him exactly why she couldn't sleep with him. (Once again, this will be explained in a JeffChev post later on)
They end up becoming fwb shortly after, but not without Jeff being interrogated by Toby and EJ first lol
22 y/o (present)
Not a whole lot is going on around this time. Well, comparatively to the last 6 years...
EJ pulled Chev and Toby into a "meeting", and confessed his feelings. He wanted the both of them, but didn't know what to do. He didn't want to choose, and he didn't want to lose either of them. He just wanted his feelings to be known, he didn't mind rejection just as long as they can still be friends.
This caught the other two way off guard, and didn't expect him to come out and confess like that... but then again they shouldn't be surprised. Jack is a pretty blunt and straightforward guy most of the time.
They all just kind of looked at each other, stunned, and unsure of how to go from here.
Then Toby suddenly spoke up, suggesting polyamory. It's not too different from what they were currently doing, so why not make it official?
Jack felt like he was going to explode from happiness. He didn't even know that was an option!
From then on they were official... but there was still one problem. Jeff.
Chev had to break it off with Jeff, and he got very upset. He even tried asking to be her third boyfriend as a compromise, but she knew that Toby and EJ wouldn't go for that.
Jeff felt genuinely hurt, but he couldn't admit that. He had a reputation to uphold! So he just... ignored her. And the other two. For months.
Toby didn't take too kindly to one of his closest friends just shutting him out like that, and he got angry. He ended up talking to him a few times, and eventually came to an agreement. He could stay fwb with Chev as long as he kept following the rules, and don't try to pursue her as anything more than a friend/fwb. He isn't allowed to betray him again, he already gave him a second chance. Jack was still not too fond of Jeff, but he reluctantly agreed.
and I think that's all there is for now! I might make a new update post if I remember anything else, or maybe I'll make a whole separate timeline page on my blog so I can edit it anytime? I dunno, we'll see!
