12.03.2023 - A local folktale says that sometimes Caligo comes from the sea to retrieve all the lost and wandering souls of the dead to show them the way out and to find eternal peace.
Scientifically speaking, Caligo is a rare phonomenon of a salty mist covering the seashore for a few hours caused by anticyclone meeting with the cold waters of the sea, usually during the spring time.
I personally prefer the folktale explanation 🤍
