Jack figuring out that Sam and Dean are soulmates and being super blunt about it, like they are all eating dinner one random monday and Jack turns to Sam and Dean and asks them "why are your souls all mixed together? All intertwined? I've never seen other people like that before." To which Sam and Dean are silent and Cas is like " *sigh* well jack, they are soulmates. Their souls are perfectly matched to be together. I too have barely seen any other true soulmates. It is rare yet so magnificent." And Sam and Dean are so embarrassed and awkwardly sitting there and Jack is just like "cool!" and goes back to eating his dinner

The marstons get a ranch cat, or one wanders over to beecher's hope and stays there like uncle. It's a good mouser, keeps the pantry and stores safe, and doesn't tease the chickens. Jack is insperable from the cat and whenever he does farm work the cat is somehow near him. The ranch cat loves Jack, and loves to sleep in his lap when he's reading.

When Jack was tiny, he followed any adult(or anyone older than him) he looked up to.

At one point, his mother had to chase very tiny toddler who definitely should not be on deck because Teague went to captain his ship.

He found Teague before his mother got to him, so the man just had a very excited two year old in his arms while waiting for his love to come get their son and actually get him to take a nap, which is what was supposed to be happening when Teague left

Something New

A little art piece for a story that I may probably never write.

i have an off topic hc about jacks mom and that hc is this woman has seizure cause of baby boi following anyone even strangers and this woman also sonics after the school bus if jack is late for school

Yes! Two year old Jack, who she had briefly turned let pick something out in a store, got distracted by a passing stranger while she was on her phone.

All she had wanted to do was text Teague they were almost done shopping, and then she looks over to where her son should definitely be, and the toddler is fucking gone.

He did this many times, each one causing heart attacks followed by a "Sweet thing, my darling baby boy, never do that again."

And him missing the bus means he gets dragged by his very quick mother.

When he was tiny, Jack absolutely followed a prostitute in Tortuga because Teague, resident father and pirate captain who didn't know children wander the fuck off when given an inch, thought he didn't need to either carry or at least hold the 18 month old's hand.

And THAT is how she learned not to trust Jack to get ready for school on his own until he was like 7
