New swords (GIFs) alert!
Trivia for today are the two handsomely Korean swords that recently added into the demo.
1) Ocean’s Oath
Ocean’s Oath is a long sword, inseparable, described as “Twin Dragon sword” (쌍룡검, Ssanglyong-geom). In the game, its description includes ‘the sea remembers the warrior’s oath. The general who stood up with the dragon to protect the people won a lonely victory in dozen of battles’. (Description from in-game, through Na-seong Kim’s Twitch stream)
Thus, ‘Ocean’s Oath’ could have been loosely based on the sword(s) that belonged to a famous Korean navy admiral, Yi Sun-sin (1545-1598). Yi Sun-sin was famed for his victories against the Japanese navy during the Imjin war in the Joseon Dynasty. According to records, the famed Admiral fought in at least 23 recorded naval battles, all against the Japanese, whilst lacking necessary supplies and being outnumbered.
(Statue of Admiral Yi Sun-sin in Seoul, Wikipedia) In the meantime, all of his swords (the ‘Twin Dragon’ swords and another one for decoration) have been declared as National Treasures in South Korea. Unfortunately, the ‘Twin Dragon’ seemed to have been lost.
The two Fable Arts from ‘Ocean’s Oath’ are Emergency Dodge and Blade Wind.

2) Carved Masterpiece
‘Carved Masterpiece’ is a long sword, inseparable, that is a ‘replica’ of the legendary ‘Chiljido’ ( 칠지도 , Seven-branched Sword). I have made a post about it here.
The two Fable Arts from ‘Carved Masterpiece’ are Guard Parry and Seven-branched Sword.
