What they dont warn you about writing lord of the rings fanfiction is that it requires you to google several world related questions all for one word or sentence that inevitably doesn't matter
Gandalf and Pippins relationship in the books means something really special to me
Because yes, Gandalf is sick of Pippins foolishness and troublesome nature 90% of the time. But he's also fond of him in a way he isn't with the other hobbits.
He's protective of him since Pippin is, after all, only young, practically a child in hobbit years. His race, let alone one of his age, has never seen wars like these before.
And, even through all of this, Gandalf can still see Pippin for the strong and resilient soul he is
I only found out about aramir today and im absolutely obssessed, i never considered this to be an option
I'm actually really emotional about elijah wood, theres something about him that just makes me Feel
I'm currently writing a mcspirk fic, and it made me curious, does anyone have any favourite mcspirk (& spirk, spones, etc) tropes?
Or maybe even just character things they like to see ??
I'm constantly mixing book lore with movie lore when it comes to writing lotr fan fiction because there's far too much nuance in the books, but also not quite enough in the movies
Vampire Boromir, who has to akwardly wait at the door to the Mines of Moria until someone tells him to come inside...
Gandalf and Aragorn clocking him imediatelly for that...
