hello and welcome back to Q Has Too Many AU’s! i’m your host Q, and in this installment, we take a look at just 6 of my many, many AU’s based around the characters from the hit minecraft roleplay sensation, Dream SMP
spit the bones from your teeth - Vigilante AU - In this world, everyone (or at least the majority of people, haven’t decided which yet) has a small list of words or phrases on their wrist only visible to them called a Skill, which grants that person abilities depending on how they personally interpret the words or phrases - Skills are divided into the classes Active, Passive, and Secondary. An Active Skill is someone’s main and strongest ability. They’re usually pretty powerful and take more concentration to activate and control. In contrast, a Passive Skill is one that’s relatively much easier to activate and are occasionally even out of the person’s control. They’re also generally less powerful. And a Secondary Skill is a rare occurrence where someone has what’s basically a second Active Skill. Secondary Skills are just as if not more powerful than Active Skills. - The Syndicate is a vigilante organization / team with one simple goal- To rid the world of tyranny, no matter the cost. They’re primarily composed of 5 members: Technoblade Winters, Philza Arkwright, Ranboo Ender, Niki Nihachu, and Hannah X. Rose, with Phil’s son Wilbur Arkwright practically being an honorary member at this point with how much he meddles with their plans
adventure is out there - Pokemon AU - Follows Tommy, Tubbo, and Ranboo as they go on their very first adventure together as pokemon trainers - The journey technically starts out with just Clingy Duo traveling together but then Tubbo (literally) runs into Ranboo somewhere along the way and they decide to drag him along with them on Tubbo’s insistence - Tommy’s partner pokemon is a zigzagoon named Zoom, Tubbo’s is a mareep named Cotton, and Ranboo’s is an eevee named Enderchest - Other notable characters include Water Type Gym Leader Captain Puffy Shepherd (who’s the first gym leader you face), Team Firework members Jack Manifold and Niki Nihachu, and Regional Champion Dream Wastaken
pigs in a blanket - Sounder AU - Techno, Wilbur, and Tommy are all piglin siblings that grew up in the Nether together. They got separated from the rest of their sounder when their bastion was sieged and started roaming around the Nether trying to survive on their own when suddenly they’re found by a wandering trader known as Philza - Phil takes one look at these little piglins and goes “welp. guess i’m dad now” - Features fluff such as the boys seeing all sorts of Overworld wonders for the very first time (ranging from sunrises painting the sky to rain gently falling to cows grazing in pastures) & the boys discovering Phil’s crush on the local witch (and then doing everything in their power to get Phil to Actually Talk To Her For Once)
the same line viewed from different sides - Reaper AU - There are lots of intricacies to the afterlife which this AU explores in depth - Features Philza as the God of Life, Kristin as the Goddess of Death, and Wilbur as the God of Souls - Techno, Tommy, Tubbo and Ranboo are also in this AU, but I’ll leave their roles as a secret for now :)
you better find your voice (better make it loud) - Band AU - Get ready to rock as your favorite bands prepare to take the stage in Essempi’s nationwide Battle of the Bands!! Listed below are just a couple of the acts that’ll be playing head to head; who are you rooting for? - Bench Trio (Tubbo on guitar / vocals, Tommy on drums / backup vocals, Ranboo on bass) - The Dream Team ( Dream on guitar / vocals, Sapnap on drums, George on bass)
Operation: Family Reunion - Wilbur & Ghostbur Twin AU - Wilbur & Goldwin (aka Ghostbur) are twins and basically they decide to make that everyone else’s problem - This AU is pretty much a Parent Trap adjacent scheme by the twins to get Kristin & Phil together - You see, the twins were adopted by different families and they managed to find each other after being separated for a couple years. They then realize their respective parents are single so if they get them to date they’ll be an official family again!! It’s a totally foolproof plan that will totally not go wrong in any way!! - Wilbur was adopted by Phil (whose other sons are Techno and Tommy) and Goldwin was adopted by Kristin (who also adopted Ranboo)
here’s the summary of the au i mentioned in the tags of my last post :)
Wilbur Soot is a man on the run;
from the various crimes he’s committed, from the disappointment of his father, and from a curse he’s hellbent on breaking- no matter the cost.
Ranboo Underscore-Beloved is a boy who’s struggling;
to remember his past, to adapt to his present, and to live to see his future- and that’s just scratching the surface.
Through an unlikely series of events, the stars align for these two strangers to cross paths, and in a world where the otherworldly dangers of the wilderness are just as unpredictable as the people surviving and thriving in them, the two of them (reluctantly) decide it’s ultimately worth the risk to work together instead of traveling the perilous west alone.
(Only time will tell if that decision will come back to bite them with more venom than a snake backed into a corner.)
Welcome to the world of Spellslinger.
