not gonna lie, the notion of you trying to explain robobot's plot/happenings in ANY logical manner is exciting because of how bullshit it is. i can believe "oh transformative spacetime shit rapidly industrialized things" but the access ark being THAT big? ridiculous. i can't stand it and i'm too weak to try and explain it or star dream's nonsense in ANY logical terms. i wish you luck.

It is certainly a most challenging situation. Game Popstar exists on some level of game logic incapable of being explained by realworld logic, and while that’s not a bad thing inherently, working with it gets... tricky... 

For starters I have tried to shrink the Access Ark way the fuck down (and made Popstar spherical).

Anyways its “legs” probably aren’t physically connected to the Ark in the AU, but rather separate structures. Just to cut down on the amount of ridiculous megastructures we are dealing with. The Ark itself is floating directly above Popstar’s Dream Fountain and guzzling magic from it for free fuel and powering up its bullshit meter

For what it's worth, that pause screen lore is an NA invention and not the og text. OG JPN Susie lore is "revived the company and runs it, but is spreading tech more positively, promoting family and unity" with zero mention of hostile takeover or robotization. While it's still /questionable/ because she's p morally ambiguous (like Magolor lol), it's not NEARLY as bad or awful as how HWC was before!

I acknowledge the original Japanese text, and I enjoy that take on Susie better, but we also can’t ignore what English localizations will often do to characters. They are both cannon and reputable sources as well as that most if not all of us Mods are native English and living in/neighboring America, where in our history, colonization was and still is a fairly problematic event given its weight and the context of how natives are treated. Susie absolutely is morally ambiguous what has come out about her since her debute, but her performance in both Star Allies and Robobot is. Yikes.

yooo you also see / headcanon alinivar as autistic/-coded??? dude that makes me so happy, i thought i was the only one who did that. that hc just endears him to me a lot as an autistic person, so seeing others who hc that is just. nice!

YOOOO 🤝 tbh a Lot of my autistic headcanons for him are projecting but also autistic alinivar is SO good I’m glad people outside like. my regular friend group see that :D

I’ve never played Splatoon so idk enough abt it personally to have any opinion abt that, but maybe I’ll check out some lore abt it later!

Reptile birthday parties are really great, imo! I intern at a local zoo where we do programs like that, and it REALLY makes a kid's day to have giant snakes or cool lizards brought into their home where they can safely interact with and learn about the animals. Ofc not every facility or person is going to do it perfectly or to the same standard, but done well and safely it's a fantastic education tool that kids and their families have a blast with. :)

Exactly! I’ve never done a birthday party but I recently did my first kid-targeted event with Kaiju and it was amazing to see how kids went from shy/scared to wanting to touch her after listening to me talk about her and asking me eight million questions.

I just really dislike Chrom and would’ve really preferred someone from 7, tbh. If it had been Lyn or Hector, I think the reception may have been better– we already have Lucina, anyways.

Oh don’t get me wrong, I don’t hate Chrom but he wasn’t like a top pick for me or anything. At this point the only Fire Emblem character I still legitimately want is Lyn. But while the reception w/in the Fire Emblem fan spaces may have been different I really doubt it’d have changed much from the usual crowd
