Rat Hole Update:

They had tried to fill in the hole, but their attempt was futile, for the people freed the hole once more and celebrated its return.

Today I made my second pilgrimage to the Rat Hole, as I was unable to go yesterday when I heard news of its being filled in. Today there is a small crowd of people and many more offerings, including foreign monetary donations. I myself left a little squeaky duck as an offering. Visiting was a joyous experience.
