As a dedicated Chimney/Tommy truther, I think an extremely funny fic would be one where Buck breaks up with Tommy for *handwaves reason* and Tommy is heartbroken, so Chimney’s ploy this time around is to tell Buck that Tommy is his hall pass and Maddie’s totally fine with it (Maddie, chiming in: “If Tommy liked women, he would be my hall pass too and we could have a threesome!”) and so Chimney is going to take advantage of Tommy being single again to cash that in and, since Tommy had a little crush on him once upon a time (known to all parties involved), he’s pretty sure Tommy will be down.

Buck is simultaneously horrified, jealous, and violently turned on at the thought, and he basically breaks down Tommy’s door to beg him not to do it.

Buck: Chimney’s not that great in bed! And I know you’re gay but stay away from Maddie, she can’t be trusted!

thinking about the potential of chimneytommy bestiesm in this chili's tonight and about the fact that chimney should have someone outside the 118 in his corner next season once he becomes cap and how that someone should be a person who knows him and knew bobby but is still able to be impartial and objective because he no longer works there and how that person could and should absolutely be tommy.

I think they should start hanging out again at the bar they used to go to, drink their craft beer and talk about anything and everything. chimney's spiraling of "do you think I shouldn't have said this to hen? do you think this means buck is mad at me?" being met with tommy's gentle but firm reassurances of "i don't think anyone is mad at you howie, they all love you and they know this isn't easy for you."

chimney has been an important and inspirational person in tommy's life and I just know tommy would continue to show up for him in any way he can. I also think chimney should mention that buck is still single at least 20 times during their conversations and he should absolutely, completely accidentally keep double booking buck and tommy for babysitting duty on his date nights with maddie.

Tommy runs ridiculously hot. Howard doesn't honestly understand it, but at the moment he is incredibly thankful for it. He has the kind shit luck this year where of course he had gotten the nastiest virus the week before Christmas and it is still lingering. He isn't throwing up anymore, but he is still congested, occasionally nauseous, and definitely feverish swinging between the chills and hot flashes. Any other year he would be with with Mr. And Mrs. Lee because it's Christmas and they are the only family he has. But Mr. Lee hasn't fully recovered from the pneumonia he'd contracted a few months ago, and he will not risk passing this plague virus onto the only father figure he has who loves him.

He'd fully intended to ride this god awful virus ruining his Christmas by himself in front of the TV watching Die Hard and eating takeout from the Korean dinner a few streets over. It isn't Mrs. Lee's cooking, but at least that made it feel a little more like Christmas. But then Tommy had shown up armed with take out from the good Korean restaurant close to his house, Gina's chicken noodle soup, and a brown paper bag filled with cold meds, sports drinks, and all the best snacks for watching movies.
