This game is featured in our Arcade Cult Classics book, which is filled with other unique and obscure arcade games!

Technos created the foundations of the beat-em-up genre with the Kunio-kun and Double Dragon games, but before those series really took off, they released the arcade-only China Gate. The Japanese title is Saiyuu Goumaroku: Ryuubouyougi no Shou (“Journey to the West Exorcism Record: Chapter of Flowing Stick Magic”).

1961年7月4日。ポン引きのやうな男を張り飛ばしたケリーが 1963年8月12日に とある町でバスを降りるところからはじまります、過去捨てた女性が体験する 想像を絶する恐怖を描いた 「裸のキッス」 を観ています。サミュエル・フラー監督作品。ケリーが 降り立ったバス停横の映画館では "ショック集団" が上映されていたりするこの映画、小さな町にあります "グラントヴィル整形外科 医療センター" で勤めはじめたのかどうなのか、病院で働き始めたケリーは、婚約をしかけた 町をつくった大富豪の子孫が、小さな女の子に いたずらをしていることを知って ゾッとします。

"この映画をフランスにささぐ" ということばから始まります、20世紀フォックス シネスコ映画 「チャイナ・ゲイト」 を観ています。サミュエル・フラー監督作品。1954年木曜日午前10時、中国門から160キロの距離にあるらしい サントイという村から 集め選ばれた外国人部隊の兵士たちが、どこかに埋められているらしい大量の弾薬を探し見つける映画ですけれど、ホラー映画ばりに 足をぐさりと刺されて苦しむ ナット・キング・コール演じる兵士と クライマックスの大爆発にドキッとさせられます。

Super Low - Runners Ups

Tiger Adams and Harry Neblett are the members of the indie pop duo Super Low, previously known as China Gate. The band has a new single, Runners Ups, and a self-title debut album to be released on July 12th, 2019.

“We changed the name to Super Low because we now have a rotating group of musicians to help with touring; while before we had the same five members for over three years”, says Adams.

Super Low is based on Memphis, Tennessee (USA) and the have an upcoming show in New York on July 20th. Tickets
