Last weekend we visited the beautiful chinese garden in the middle of Stuttgart. Now that I have a week of winter break, I hope to do even more small trips with my family. 👨👩👦 #chinesischergartenstuttgart #stuttgart #0711 #bluesky #lastweekend #throwback #chinesischergarten #chinesegarden #pond #skystillblue #winter #visitbawu #enjoystuttgart https://www.instagram.com/p/Cowtcn0r8iG/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
Affected by Taoist thought, years, that is, length of time has become an aesthetic value of Chinese art. Gardens are art of time and space. After hundreds of years of existence, the mountains, rocks, and trees in the gardens have left years of life. In the eyes of the Chinese, this natural aging is more beautiful than at the beginning of the garden. The oriental bonsai art artificially creates a certain incomplete and vicissitudes of appearance at the beginning of planting. #artwork #artofgarden #art #landscapestyle #landscape #ancient #garden #chinesestyle #chineseartisthualiu #sony #葉 #space #years #plants #landscapedesign #view #庭園 #風景 #thought #lovely #chineselandscape #leaf #chinesegarden #shanghai #scenery #photoofday #landscapephotography #landscapeartchitecture #ancientarchitecture #life(在 蘇州怡園) https://www.instagram.com/p/CWcx8YBsX1L/?utm_medium=tumblr

疏影 - (Scattered Shadows) 🌸🌿🌸 Some of the @lansuchinesegarden garden doors have inscriptions above them. This particular doorway is one of my favorites. According to "Listen to the Fragrance" by Dr. Charles Q. Wu, this inscription is from one of the Song dynasty poets - Jiang Kui. In the poem Jiang Kui describes the importance and beauty of seeing beyond only objects and peering further into the fourth dimension of time. This is one of my favorite things about the garden, the fleeting shadows and endless possibilities. #chinesegarden #chinesemedicine #chineseculture #chineseart #chinesestyle #chinalife #chinatravel #springflowers🌸 #zenart #portlandia #portlandnw #portlandphotographer #oregonnw #exploreeverywhere #gardenlovers #gardendecor #gardenstyle #lansuchinesegarden #spring2021 #citypark #hiddengem #hiddengems #hiddentreasures #sculptureart #songdynasty #asianbeauty #asianart #asianstyle #mingdynasty #疏影 www.hannahcrazyhawk.com (at Lan Su Chinese Garden) https://www.instagram.com/p/COg9NgwlFLA/?igshid=1x5uqconw6wv2
Shinshuen Garden: Hidden Gem in Kawasaki Daishi
So, recently I went on a school trip (社会科見学) to Kawasaki Daishi Temple(川崎大師). I had been to the temple 3-4 times and even walked around Daishi Park, but I never knew that there is a Chinese Garden hidden in the little corner of the lively venue.
Shinshuen Park (瀋秀園) is a Chinese style garden built based on the designs of the Ming and Qing dynasties. It was built to celebrate the friendship between Kawasaki and the Chinese city of Shenyang. It’s name 瀋秀園 combines kanji that refer to the city of Shenyang (審) and the relationship (秀) and man-made garden (園).
