Is pietro’s default size his big size? And it takes effort for him to stay small- even just a little bit but he still needs to be conscious of it?

I had to pause and think of my answer on this bc I did wonder if he was technically just that size now, but it's a no and yes. I think it's more that he basically has his power ON all the time p much for a while towards the beginning and it just feels easier for him to stay larger. This also has to do with his powers being tied to his emotions and him feeling general anxiety almost ALL the time at that point in the timeline and also why he keeps being much larger.

It does take effort and a conscious decision to be smaller and often times he finds it easier to just be in a semi-giant form if anything. For a while that's all he can do and can't fully go back to his original size. And it feels like he's on a timer when he gets smaller before reverting back to a much larger size. This timer is shorter at the start of his stay at the mansion and makes doing a lot of things difficult, like when he can eat or use the bathroom/shower. Shenanigans ensue with this.

Eventually he does start gaining more control over it however, and some actual therapy also ends up helping with this, but there seems to be a sort of itch he also gets to size shift, much like the buzzing need to use his super speed he'd get as well. This boy can't stay in one spot for long, whether he's going horizontally or vertically. We said how even when he controls it more he kind of does "giant time" for a bit every few days at least or he'll start feeling stir crazy. Even when he gets his super speed back, he still ends up feeling the different kind of itches from needing to use either his super speed or size shifting.

Question; how do you do Squash and Stretch and expressions so well?? Teach me your secrets

I wouldn’t really call how I do expressions squash and stretch so much as exaggeration. They go hand in hand, but I don’t really change up the shape of the whole head/face, I mainly just focus on the eyes and mouth.

There's not really a secret to it. Main thing is to mix n match straight and round edges, just play around with shapes til you find something ya like!
