Jeremiah 10 exposes the Christmas tree as a religious fabrication, while Isaiah 17 explains the Tree of Knowledge through the harvest of people~Qamah, Laqat, and the beaten olive tree.
Together, these passages contrast tradition with discernment, showing why Yahowah gathers the observant rather than those clinging to ritual.

Marriott Manila Welcomes Holiday Season With The Lighting of Its Christmas Tree and Marriott Bonvoy Lantern
Marriott Hotel Manila officially welcomed the festive holiday season with the annual lighting of its Christmas Tree and Marriott Bonvoy Lantern on November 5, 2024. This is an event we have always attended as Marriott is usually one of the first hotel properties to open the Christmas season.
The bright and merry evening was filled with music and dancing as Marriott Manila continues its Paskonstelasyon events to spread joy, hope, and cheer while supporting a worthy cause. Of course, it won't be complete without the Golden Santa crashing the party.
The event opened at the Greatroom of Marriott Manila with special songs performed by the children's choir to serenade the evening's special guests.
Then the countdown began to light up the giant Christmas Tree at the hotel lobby. Special guests included Miss Universe 1973 Margie Moran together with hotel executives led by Marriott Manila Multi-Property Vice President and Cluster General Manager Bruce Winton.
The Golden Santa surprised the kids with gifts and treats to make them feel the Christmas spirit.
The party then moved over to the Marriott Ballroom where a special program was in store for the guests.
Cocktails and refreshments were available at the bar. The beverage lineup included Brandy Cappuccino, Madras, Appleton, and Gin Tonic.
A light dinner was also prepared at the festive buffet tables. Guests can partake of the cheese appetizers as well as the Christmas Ham carving station.
Other items included pasta, sausages, tacos, as well as canapés.
Desserts were also on display with cakes, cookies, brownies, macarons, and other sweet treats ready for picking.
The main beneficiary of the Tree Lighting event was Bereber Sayaw PD, a foundation that harnesses the power of dance to help individuals with Parkinson's Disease. Bereber Sayaw founder Novy Japitana Bereber opened with his story about how he found his calling and how teaching his students also gives him happiness and fulfillment.
Several dance numbers were performed on stage representing the daily struggles of those living with Parkinson's Disease.
The program ended with Marriott Manila executives and Bereber Sayaw PD performers receiving a warm round of applause from the guests. But the evening was not yet done, because up next was a performance from the Maneuvers Ignite and beats from DJ Yuuna.
We would like to thank Marriott Manila Cluster Director of Marketing Communications Archie Nicasio for hosting us during their annual Tree Lighting event. Watch out for the holiday promotions and events this festive season at Marriott Manila.
