𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐲𝐨 𝐘𝐮𝐦𝐞𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚 𝐱 𝐩𝐡𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐡𝐲 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐚𝐬𝐭!𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐞!𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫

❥ As we all know, Chiyo loves romance, be it hers or someone else’s. A hopeless romantic you could say, her love life is as unfortunate as it could be, well, always could be worse, but for a high school girl?   Quite unlucky if you ask me.

❥ However, her romance unluckiness definitely changes when she met you. First, she saw you in the park, photographing nature. She was absolutely infatuated. Then, however, she started seeing you everywhere. The café she visited, the grocery store, even the train station. And honestly, she did not go unnoticed either. How could she, I mean, someone watching you from afar? A stalker? No. It’s but a coincidence.

❥ They always say to expect the unexpected, which neither of you did. How come you suddenly enrolled in the same school? Right after winter break too. Well, what’s done is done. Plus, now it’s even easier for Yumehara to approach you and not seem like a stalker!!

❥ You’d think this would be a slow burn, assuming I don’t recall a time when I wrote something that progressed this fast- urm. But no. A little after winter break, Valentines Day came. A day that comes along with a lot of pressure, some lazy individuals might hope not to get too many chocolates, so they do not have to return them on white day. But whatever it is that raised the air pressure, it was scary. Oh yes, maybe it was the letter you found on your desk this morning

“Meet me under the camphor tree during lunch break ♡♡♡”

❥ That’s it, the bell that signifies the start of the lunch break could be heard all over the school. You slowly grab your belongings, all notebooks and school materials, stuffing them inside your bag, then grabbing your drink and camera, and setting off, walking as slowly as possible. What if it’s not from the person you hoped it to be? What if you make a fool of yourself? What if they don’t show up? What if- no. It is her. You can clearly see her, waiting for you to appear, so she can confess- or is it for you? Who knows :3

❥ So, it was in fact for you. Confession was executed almost perfectly. By Yumehara of course.

“I really like you!! You are really cute!! Please go out with me!!”

❥ She hurriedly said, while extending a homemade chocolate in the shape of a heart, how cute!!

❥ And that is basically how you ended together. Yeah.

❥ Yumehara is very affectionate person, so you spend a lot of time together, whether it be just hanging out or taking cute photos together. Now a cute thing you two WOULD have to do sooner or later, is make her your Model for photos. Be it in nature, inside, with her being the focus or background. But you would be forced to take even more photos of you both together ♡

𝐑𝐎𝐁𝐈𝐍

This was his first Valentine's with you as his sweetheart, to say he was excited was an understatement. He had been preparing for this since Christmas passed, he wanted to make the most of the day, and most importantly, make sure you enjoyed it.

But little did he know that you had caught wind of his plans, especially with all the questions he had been posing you.

But you played along, you couldn't bear for him to be disappointed, and he was just too adorable.

He took you to Walter Park for the first half of the day, paying for all of the expenses. When the sun was at it's peak and the heat was insufferable, he took you to a park for a picnic lunch. He made lunch for the both of you, a simple veggie dish and rice.

After Lunch, he took you shopping, but you watched him excitedly dart around, looking at all the snacks and magical tools around.

Even though it wasn't a surprise, you were happy that he planned all this to spend time with you. You could never forget how widely he smiled after you told him about how much you enjoyed the day, it made you fall in love with him all over again.

𝐂𝐇𝐈𝐘𝐎

Chiyo had many demands of her time, and knew that Valentine's day would be no different. She promised you she would take leave from her work when the 14th rolled around, but sad to say that promise was never fulfilled.

You weren't the only one upset when you returned to your room, expecting to see her, only to see a gift wrapped present with a letter of apology beside it. Chiyo too was frustrated that she was suddenly summoned away- away from you.

11pm rolled around, and she had shown no sign of returning. The day was almost over, and your girlfriend hadn't appeared.

The clock hit 12am, and you decided to retire, but you heard the unlocking and locking of the door, followed by a set of quickened footsteps as Chiyo approached your bedroom. She got on her knees, apologizing profusely to you.

Could you forgive her? The look of relief she had when you hugged her, admitting that you couldn't be mad, and it was best you two retired for the night.

Oh well, there's always tomorrow.

𝐌𝐔𝐑𝐌𝐔𝐑

You sat alone in your shared room, silently seething at your boyfriend. Of course he scored tickets for a DeviDol concert that just so happened to be on Valentine's Day, right? But there was no use being angry.

You threw yourself onto the bed, glaring at the DeviDol poster on the wall. Was it wrong to want your boyfriend all to yourself just for one day?

You opened your phone, the vines of envy wrapping itself around your heart and twisting. Everyone was offline, probably spending time with their lovers.

Just as you were about to put your phone away and cry yourself to sleep, you received a text from Murmur. Did the concert end early? Did he drink himself into oblivion and need you to pick him up again?

It was neither. All he had asked you to do was to come to a fancy restaurant in an hour, and you suddenly started to question. You dressed up, and left the house, going to the restaurant. You couldn't help but wonder, the restaurant in question was a super popular one for higher ranking demons, and it was almost impossible to get a reservation there.

You arrived, and was guided in by a waiter, to a table where your boyfriend was awkwardly waiting, folding his napkin into complex oragami.

When you sat down, he couldn't help but flash a smile, and you instantly knew that he had planned this all along, and the DeviDol concert was just a convenient cover-up.

𝐃𝐀𝐋𝐈

Dali was mysterious, that was for sure. You could never tell was he was thinking or feeling under the masks of laughs and smiling. One thing for sure was that he dedicated himself to teaching, not overlooking any mistake.

So you weren't surprised when you went looking for him on Valentine's, you found him in his office marking his students most recent essays.

You watched him for a while, wondering if you should approach him or walk away, and spend your Valentine's alone. But before you could make your decision, you heard him call your name.

He's almost hurt from the fact you thought he would forget to spend time with his girlfriend on Valentine's. He asked you to come to a certain location in a few hours. The ballroom where Devilams are usually held. That's odd, as far as you were concerned there was no Devilam happening today-

You and Dali were in an empty ballroom. Your bodies swaying effortlessly to the music playing in your heads. You and him both dressed as if you were royalty from fairy tales.

Then you knew, that he was the one for you.

𝐊𝐀𝐋𝐄𝐆𝐎

You sat alone in your lovers home, giving Kalego's beloved cacti their monthly drown- watering..

He was busy, all he always was.. today being no different. You wouldn't be surprised if he forgot that today was Valentine's, or if his clan didn't celebrate the holiday. But right now he was with his 'beloved' Misfits, and it made you smile knowing that Kalego was finally getting along with his class instead of scaring them off like he used to.

A notification drew your attention to your phone, it was from Kalego. Well- from Kalego's number, the message was obviously written by one of his students. You smiled as you got ready to leave, heading over to the Royal One.

You didn't expect to see your lover tied up in pink lacy ribbon with a scowl as the rest of the class wished you Happy Valentine's, claiming to have caught your 'escaped fiance'.

Sure Kalego didn't like this idea, but it was all worth it seeing the smile on your face as you laughed, thanking his moronic students.

𝐁𝐀𝐋𝐀𝐌

He devoted today to you, clearing out his schedule by completing all his work early. He requested to take off, and given the fact he rarely does so, Dali and Sullivan both gave their 666s.

He would gather a bouquet of rare, but beautiful flowers for you. And if you should request for him to keep them alive so that you could admire their beauty for longer, he would gladly do so, even teaching you how to raise them to reach their peak beauty.

You two preferred a more quiet Valentine's, enjoying spending time with each other in your shared home over going out. You would complain about your work, while braiding his hair as he listened, making small comments, and occasionally even taking your 'enemies' side.

The day would end with a dinner the two of you would cook together, even though Balam's hands looked way too big to hold the average demon-sized pan..

Afterwards you would cuddle in bed, with you stroking his scarred jaw, and pretty much using him as your personal mattress.

𝐎𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐀

You wouldn't see Opera till mid-day that's for sure. They were too busy serving the Sullivan household to see you before. And you respected that.

At least, that was what you thought.

You woke up, and Opera was in your house. You didn't even question how they had gotten in, and you couldn't bring yourself to be mad when the smell of your favorite pancakes wafted through the air. Not only that, your whole house was much tidier than you remembered, and your laundry was dry and folded.

Opera was all about servicing you, showing you how much you meant to them. Even if you two were not bound by a Security Devil-Master relationship, they would still serve you.

You got up, walking to where your lover was, wrapping your arms around their waist, not missing how you could feel their tail swishing from side to side happily by your legs.

𝐈𝐏𝐎𝐒

You looked at your clock, eagerly anticipating your boyfriend's arrival. He had work that day, but promised he would come to you after he could leave.

Excitement dissolved into worry when you realized it was now raining- and very hard at that. You checked your phone, expecting a text saying that he couldn't visit due to the weather, but instead of that, all you saw was the message he last sent which was early that morning.

A thump at your door alerted you, and you rushed to open it. There, you were greeted with a soaking wet Ipos, who was folding his wings in.You immediately ushered him in, dragging him to your bathroom and making him sit there as you went to get his spare clothes that he kept at your place.

As he changed, you couldn't help but notice a soaking wet paper bag at the door. You opened it, seeing a heart shaped box of chocolate, your favorite, but sadly misshapen and soaked due to the rain.

Oh well, it's the thought that counts, right? In the end, you got to cuddle with your boyfriend while eating chocolate, knowing that you'll have to take care of a him the next day, given the amount he was sneezing.

𝐄𝐈𝐓𝐎

Your boyfriend was eagerly rambling on and on about this new student of his, complaining about how the system ranked him so lowly, and eagerly making 'what-if' plans to train him.

You were tired of this man's bullshit, sure it was cute the first few times he did it, but he's been doing this for months now, and in the midst of that, he had probably forgotten Valentine's Day. 

You watched him as he cooked, being there to make sure he didn’t burn the kitchen, or the food down. Honestly you couldn’t be mad at him, his flaming tail flicking around as he continued to ramble while talking to you. After some time your food was ready, and Eito gave it to you. It was a stack of heart shaped pancakes, heart shaped fruits and berries with demon syrup. Your favorite breakfast.

You felt a warmth in your cheeks as Eito pressed a kiss to your forehead, whispering a ‘Happy Valentines’ and going to get ready for school.

You really couldn’t stay mad at him.

𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐁𝐀𝐒

Marbas was a simple person, really. From his appearance to his personality. So you weren’t surprised when you found a bouquet of flowers and a small box of chocolate on your table. Though they were stereotypical Valentine's gifts, you found it sweet.

However, something you didn’t expect to see was how later on in the day, when you joined him in the tools room to help him clean his equipment. You didn’t expect the large dark red heart on the wall, drawn with something that was already drying… was it fresh?

Not only on the wall, but almost all the equipment had them too. You cleaned them all off, thankful for the cleaning products you had invested in. Marbas wasn’t anywhere to be seen, you were silently hoping he wasn't drawing more hearts at home..

You couldn’t even begin to explain how relieved you were when you saw Marbas holding a red can of paint just as you were finishing up with the cleaning.

But you realized that the red colour wasn’t matching.

He only smiled at you when questioned..

….it was paint… right?

𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐀𝐒

He woke up beside you, checking his clock. His video game console was on the floor, he obviously slept late because he was playing games. He got up, getting ready for school, canceling the previous day off the calendar. Just as he was about to walk away, he froze, running back to the calendar.

It was Valentine’s Day.

He forgot.

He didn’t have time to prepare a surprise for you right now, as he watched you slowly wake up. His best bet was to use his luck and make something for you later. But for now, he’ll pretend that he actually did something.

He winked and saluted you with two fingers, promising to see you later.

That night he was walking with you, holding flowers that he coincidentally found on the way to school. How lucky, am I right?

At the end of the walk, you just laughed, and from that, Orias already knew he had been caught. Oh well, luck can only go so far, and he laughed with you as well.

But he knew for a fact as you kissed his cheek, that he was pretty damn lucky to have you, and it wasn’t even with his ability.

𝐌𝐎𝐌𝐎𝐍𝐎𝐊𝐈

Right, today was the day. You had a whole day planned out for the two of you. You looked at the itinerary that you had made for that day, only to receive a message from Momonoki to meet you at a breakfast place. Well, that wasn’t the same place you had planned for the two of you to go, but it’s fine!

When you got there, the two of you sat down, and ordered. You decided to tell her about your plan for that day as you waited for the food.

But to yours, and her, surprise, you both started to talk right after the waiter left. Then there was a small bit of bickering as you two argued on who should go first.

Eventually you two decided that you should go first, and you took out the plan, explaining it to her. You looked up only to see her shocked. You started to wonder if there was something wrong.

She pulled out a paper, similar to yours. Both of you had planned the whole day, but separately.

You two laughed about it, making an itinerary together that was a mashup of the two. 

Both of you knew you would do anything to see the other smile.

You take her out to a romantic outing in the most beautiful garden.

You will take a lot of detours and sudden turns though...Her brother tried to follow you.

When you shake him off, you'll head to the garden and pull out a picnic.

Lots of kisses and snuggles.

She is so shy when she gives you her gifts.

You love her so much, such a fun day.

You are a Baker so you get him a literal buffet of sweets. All coffee flavored.

He is so happy. Like you've never seen him smile so much.

You swear there are flowers growing as a result.

Your Valentine's Day is more private and away from everyone.

You have to shake of his friends if you want to spend the day together.

Unfortunately, for her...everything went wrong.

You came and saved the day though when you gave her gifts and took her out.

KOKOMI TERUHASHI:

* When Teruhashi finds out that you love gardening, she researches everything she can about it to impress you, how can she be the perfect lover if she doesn’t know about something your passionate about.

* When you bring it up in conversation with her your shocked when she knows, so much she might even know more than you.

* If you ask her if she wants to meet up with you after school and help you with your garden, On the outside she’s like:

* Where on the inside she’s really going:

* *I didn’t think they would ask me to help, what if I get dirt on me*

* She really wants to be invited to help you garden, so she can spend more time with you, but she doesn’t want to get rejected, so she subtly hints at the idea

* When you come over to her house she leaves out loads of garden magazines on the table and when answering the door she is holding some gardening gloves with a bit of dirt on her face and a new gardening outfit she brought while shopping the day before

* In conversation she would ask questions related to gardening such as:

* “Hey y/n, what fertiliser do you think would be best to use for my plants?”

* “What type of flower should I plant next?”

* Eventually you get the hint and invite her to help you in your garden

* She was jumping for joy inside her mind

* The day before meeting you she was really nervous in case she messed up and you ended up hating her, so she stayed up most of the night to do research on gardening

* Now she wasn’t perfect, but she didn’t completely fail and as a bonus she got to hold your hand when you were putting her hands in the correct position to dig with the shovel

* These little gardening get together became a everyday thing since she loved spending time with you especially because you loved gardening, so much

* So when you gave her a flower from your garden she was, so touched

* She’s blushing all shades of red

* But what you didn’t know was she started a little garden of her own

* She was growing some flowers to give to you

* But as she was watering them she got distracted and flooded the flower bed killing the flowers

* So she ended up making you some origami flowers

* They looked really nice you really appreciated it

* She was very happy when you gave them there own special place in your bed room

* Overall, she tries her best to be a good gardener like you even though she makes a few mistakes she tries not to let them discourage her.

* She’s very supportive of your love for gardening and very helpful too

* She likes to be very useful in terms of your gardening:

* Need help affording some new tools she’s buying them for you all wrapped up as a lovely present

* If you ever need help just give her a call and she will be right over

* She uses her crystal ball to predict what the weathers going to be like, so you can prepare your garden

* She might even try to convince Kusuo with some coffee jelly to change the weather if the weather’s not going to be ideal for your garden

* Aiura most of the time will set up a chair in your garden and watch you work, she likes to admire how attentive you are and the time and care you put into every plant or crop

* But if you need any help just say the word and she will be standing behind you with a shovel and some fertiliser

* If you ever give her a flower from your garden she would be really giddy

* And if you look closely you will find a small blush tinting her cheeks

* Also expect hugs you give her a flower she’s going to be like:

* “Come here, y/n” and pull you in for a hug

* Overall, very sweet supportive, is always there to help you as much as she can with your garden.

MERA CHISATO:

* As soon as you tell her about your gardening she immediately thinks:

* *Oh I wonder what food y/n must grow*

* *I want to taste the corn, the tomatoes, the carrots, the potatoes

* Her mouth is watering just thinking about it, you have to snap your fingers in her face to snap her out of her daze

* Will quickly volunteer to help with your garden when she’s available since her schedule is, so busy with her multiple jobs

* As soon as she enters your garden she makes a leap for the delicious vegetables, you have to hold her back and warn her there not fully grown yet, so she should wait

* Dejectedly she stops running for the food and picks up a shovel to help you plant some more plants

* She’s actually quite good at gardening too having done a few jobs in gardening herself

* And even though she tried to eat your growing vegetables loads of times you both had a lot of fun gardening together

* When you give her a flower from your garden thinking it’s food she eats it

* You end up taking her to the nurses office for safe measure, but she turns out to be fine though

* So in the end you give her a whole crate of vegetables you’ve grown she’s very thankful for this

* She’s practically crying tears of joy because these vegetables will make a delicious meal for her and her family

* So you make it a habit that whatever food you grow you always give her half as a thank you for the help she gives you when she has time off work

* Overall, she’s very helpful when she has the time and loves the taste of anything you grow.

IMU RIFUTA:

* When you tell her that you garden she wants to help

* She doesn’t no a thing about gardening other then that you put a seed in some dirt and watch it grow

* But she wants an excuse to spend more time with you

* So when she comes to help you with your garden she is standing at the side supporting you, cheering you on

* Until you offer to teach her how to garden, she nearly faints from fan-girling too hard when you put your hands on top off hers to position them on the shovel right

* She starts to enjoy it, only because she gets to spend time with you

* The gardening she isn’t the biggest fan of, in her head she’s like:

* *This dirt isn’t good for my cuteness*

* *Come on, you can handle it for y/n*

* She buys a proper gardening outfit to protect her from the dirt

* She makes sure the outfit is cute enough for her liking though

* If you ever gave her a flower as a gift she’d probably malfunction

* *I’ll protect this precious flower with my life*

* Overall, she may not like gardening that much, but she’ll do it with you since the time she spends with you is worth it even if she has to get covered in dirt.

SUZUMIYA HII:

* When she finds out you garden she really wants to help, but is afraid her bad luck will get in the way

* You reassure her that it’s fine and you’d love her to help

* Worriedly she agrees to come and help you

* It’s a disaster, she’s spilling compost left and right, she’s already flooded two flower beds and stepped on this one rake about 40 times

* In the kitchen your putting a cold compress on the bruises from the rake, while she apologies to you for the inconveniences she has caused

* You reassure her that it’s okay and you can always plant more

* She stays away from your garden after all that

* But when her bad luck was lifted she rushes straight to you and happy that she can finally help you in your garden without making much of a mess

* She has, so much fun helping you in your garden after that

* When you used to give her flowers back when she was really clumsy she would be very appreciative

* But within a minute of you giving her the flowers lightening came out of nowhere and hit her making the flowers wilt

* You still carried on giving her flowers though no matter how many got destroyed

* When her bad luck was lifted she could finally keep the flowers safe

* She rushes home making sure she keeps them intact until she makes it to her room where she puts them in a vase on her desk

* Overall, she really wants to help you garden even though obstacles can get in the way sometimes.

Yumehara is very fond of taking you to dates where she can cook for you. Cooking is one of her favorite things to do, and it is something she wants to share with you. Today, she’d decided that a picnic would be perfect; maybe you’d be inspired into taking a picture or see something you like enough to take a photo of.

Yumehara just didn’t expect it to be of her food. She was sure it tasted good (after having to wrangle it away from Mera) and maybe even looked good too. But having you like it enough to take a photo of is something entirely different. Something that makes Yumehara burst into a smile and throw herself at you.

“That’s so sweet,” Yumehara pulls you into a crushing hug, grin almost splitting her face. She had the nicest S/O ever. There’s no contest.

“Let me take a picture of you as a thanks!” Using a camera is much, much harder than she thought it could be. The picture is a little blurry and unfocused. Not the best, but you seem to like it enough that Yumehara promptly breaks into tears. Tears of happiness, that is.  

“Give me any of your spare photos.” Some of your other dates include scrapbooking, Yumehara greatly enjoying putting your pictures together with you. You could think they’re awful, but Yumehara loves each and every one of them.

Bonus:

There is not a single day that you don’t take a picture of Yumehara. Don’t worry, even if forget she’ll happily remind you.

Yumehara likes you for more than your photography skills (blame your good looks and personality). But it doesn’t mean Yumehara’s above convincing you that having an entire portfolio dedicated to her.

Yumehara swears that whenever you take a picture of her flowers and stars appear behind you and she falls for you all over again. Safe to say you aren’t breaking up anytime soon.

Big fan of any scenery photos you might take. But don’t you think it’d be much more aesthetically pleasing with Yumehara in the photo 😏…

Do not take pictures of Teruhashi if Yumehara is around. Sure, Yumehara sadly understands the appeal, but isn’t your girlfriend a much better muse 🙄.

Will brag about your skills to anyone she sees. After all, Yumehara has to show off her S/O and how lucky she is (and unlucky everyone else is) because you’re dating.

Will protect your camera and any pictures (no matter how terrible you might think they are) with her life. Anyone who accidentally photo bombs or ruins your photos may e found dead tomorrow. Who knows? It definitely isn’t your sweet, lovable girlfriend hahaa.

Accident (Yumehara Chiyo x Reader)

•At what you thought was just another rainy day, perhaps your selflessness was the start of something new. This was how you met Yumehara Chiyo

It was a selfless deed; you hadn’t even thought it through.

Walking home, after school, was always boring but it gave time to unwind. It was a particularly rainy day, the droplets falling on the top of your hood, slowly running down every angle. Keeping your head low as if to protect your face from the harsh weather, you pulled the jumper tighter around yourself stuffing your hands in the pockets. Looking up, you could see the puddle forming at the side of the road, it was bigger than a puddle almost like a pond. Beside it was a small girl with her arms wrapped around herself, walking down the same side as you. The last thing you noticed was the incoming car making it’s way down the paved road at a speed faster than it should.

There wasn’t time to think; there was barely any time to act and before you knew it your whole body was soaking wet, even more so than before. Your arms were spread wide, holding both edges of the jumper causing all warmth to disappear, it could almost be mistaken for wings. Your back was turned to the car causing only your back to be soaked by the puddle but the rest of your body was getting rained on so it didn’t really matter. Raising your head to meet the girl standing in front of you, her hands in two fists covering the bottom half of her face, eyes wide with…fear? maybe? With a nod of your head, you brought your arms back to your side.

‘Thank you.’ The girl muttered between her hands.

Taking off your jumper, you placed the wet material over her head. ‘It’s wet but it’ll stop you from getting drenched.’ She stared at you in admiration. You turned to the side starting to walk back home. You could deal without a jumper for the rest of the walk, there was only a couple blocks left anyway.

Beyond your knowledge, the girl you had saved was already planning your first date, eyes fixated on your disappearing figure as you walked away.

•After getting a cold from saving Chiyo, you spent a few days recovering at home, unknowing being missed by the small girl

You ended up contracting a cold after that rainy afternoon cashing you to miss two days of school. It wasn’t too severe only a couple days but a certain redhead had been missing you dearly. On your return she was the first to greet you at your desk, not that you usually had people swarming your desk, usually it was just you and Saiki but that was beside the point.

‘I had to return it. Thank you for helping me!’ She held out her hands holding the neatly folded jumper. ‘I’m Yumehara Chiyo.’

‘Y/N L/N.’ You replied taking the jumper, tucking it neatly into your bag being careful not to unfold it. You took a gaze at the girl taking in her short ginger locks, noticing the blush that spread across her cheeks at your staring. Moving to look her in the eyes you took note of the slight shimmer glazing across her hazel orbs. She’s pretty. You gave a small thank you and turned back to your desk getting a pen out.

That wasn’t the last you’d see of Chiyo, she was always ‘accidentally’ bumping into you or asking if you had the homework answers. After quick small talk and a few loving looks that she never saw, you’d always brush it off pretending it was annoying and in some aspects it was; but apart of you couldn’t wait till the next time she came in contact, which appeared to be everyday. There was something about her.

•Becoming friends with Chiyo you noticed she was rather attatched to your friendship. Did she want it to be more? Maybe she did, maybe she just had to find a way to show it

The next few weeks were the same boring school days, nothing interesting happening apart from things happening to Saiki. You’d started walking home together after you realised you both shared a love for coffee jelly. He was always one of your friends, you’d defend him and he’d protect you. Saiki had told you about Chiyo and how she had a past obsession with him causing a doubt to be present at the back of your mind. Maybe she didn’t really like you and just wanted someone, anyone. Clearly she didn’t care who.

‘Hey L/N!’ A familiar voice could be heard behind you making Saiki disappear as if he was never there. ‘I thought you might like this!’ She held out her hands, just like she did when returning the jumper all those weeks ago only this time, holding a pack of coffee jelly. A wave of surprise overcame you and with widened eyes you could only muster a small squeak.

Y/N what the fuck is wrong with you?

‘Are you okay?! I can give them to someone else if you don’t want them but please take them I got them specially for you!’ Chiyo’s voice was always so cheery it made your heart flutter and butterflies appear.

Ew.

Although you weren’t thinking Ew to the jelly or to Chiyo’s adorable puppy dog eyes, you couldn’t help but think of how disgusting the feeling of butterflies were. They made you feel sick but in a way that made you want to vomit up your feelings instead of vomiting up food. Reaching out to the jelly, your hands brushed over Chiyo’s and you could see a small blush appear on her cheeks; considering your recent feelings you gathered there had to be one on your cheeks too.

‘Thank you, Chiyo. You didn’t have to.’ Being the only words you could form before turning away, tucking the jelly into your bag.

‘Actually I did,’ She paused and you turned back to look at her. She was seemingly nervous, trying her best not to stutter. After a clear debate in her mind she put her hands down by her side with clenched fists, ‘Would you like to go on a date with me?’ She practically shouted shutting her eyes and standing on her tip toes, leaning her upper body towards you.

You gave no response, simply pulling a notebook out of your bag and scribbling down your number. At your silence, Chiyo opened her eyes and leaned back into a more neutral position, eyeing what you were writing but being blocked off by your hand tearing the page from the book and handing it to the girl.

You gave a small nod then turned back around to continue walking home but not before stopping at the end of the road to tilt your head to look at Chiyo, giving her a quick wink. The action didn’t go unnoticed as she stood there dumbfounded while you turned the corner and left with the coffee jelly and a possible date.
