In the city of wine and song, dawn breaks through the blue curtains of the Goth Hotel to add a gentle hue over Liyue’s most gifted exorcist. Barely dressed in his undershirt and shorts, he uses his free time wisely as he sits a desk and preps talismans after gaining some unique inspiration from the change of scenery. Chongyun was so caught up in this interesting process that he didn’t even realized Hu Tao, draped in complimentary gown black sleeping gown, was awake until her arms rested on his shoulders. A gentle kiss to his right ear made him smile as she hummed.
Hu Tao:Good day, my blue exorcist. To think my husband would leave me all alone in bed already. Oh the misery~
Chongyun:Hehe, so theatrical without your first bite of breakfast.
Hu Tao:What can I say? My mood has never been better! Now then, what mystic arts are you trying to conjure?
Chongyun:The talks of spirits and blessings here are vastly different. I couldn’t help but feel a little curious if the practices between Liyue and Mondstadt are fundamentally different, or is it more surface level? If there is crossover, maybe it could help me improve my own understanding.
Hu Tao:Do be careful before your constitution or curiosity somehow welcomes the wrath of any being that just blessed our marriage not even a full day ago. If I was tinkering with business opportunities, you’d pull me by the ear in a heartbeat.
Chongyun:Your ways of improving business have a very direct way of upsetting people unaware. Also, don’t think I didn’t see how you took notice of their cemetery.
Hu Tao:All the more reason to praise me as I merely glanced before moving on! Looks like I’m showing more restraint than you.
Chongyun:I…can’t argue with that. Fair enough. How about I make a breakfast run, or I make something myself? Tell me what you’re in the mood for. I’ll-
His heart nearly jumped out his chest as he felt teeth slowly sink into his neck. Again, Hu Tao kissed his ear, playfully tugging at the lobe while her hands traced his jaw. She kept her tone low and wistful, like a mischievous spirit clinging to its target.
Hu Tao:I don’t want you leaving this room yet, and I can’t say I’m particularly in the mood for a proper breakfast. Now then, unless you plan on using the ink on me, I suggest you make better use of your hands~
She did not need to ask twice. Hu Tao could not hide her grin as she watched Chongyun put everything down before getting up from his seat. He turned towards her, face already inches away. Hu Tao was all too ready for their proper first kiss of the day, but instead yelped as her entire body was taken off the ground and into his arms.
“Hahaha! So forward. You’ll make a girl swoon.” Hu Tao cheekily placed her hand onto her chest as she dramatically leaned back. “Y’know, this is quite similar to my dream last night.”
“You had a dream?”
“Mhmm~ a most wonderful dream indeed. Although in some ways it felt rather…lacking.” Her eyes looked deeply into Chongyun’s as her right hand rubbed his face. “You were in it of course.”
“Care to tell me everything in it? I’ll make the lacking parts your favorite.” He said effortlessly.
The way his gaze would fixate on Hu Tao’s lips made her chest flutter. “When did you run off and get so confident? I could tell you my dreams but I’m much more curious about what you think happened. No need for imitations; it’s always a treat seeing what that mind of yours conjures.”
“In that case…” He leaned in further, kissing Hu Tao with enough fervor to silence her giggles and focus on returning the gesture.
If there was one thing Hu Tao loved, it was how Chongyun kissed her. Any semblance of calmness seemed to melt away the moment their tongues dared to exchange pleasantries. She never denied being needy, but even Hu Tao surprised herself with how energetic she was first thing in the morning. They didn’t skip out on the consummation of their marriage last yesterday, despite how chaotic it was running off to Mondstadt so late. Hu Tao would’ve thought she’d be satisfied. Nope. Not even close.
As her body was placed back on their bed, Chongyun’s presence remained constant. The funeral director’s breath hitched as he returned the bite, marking her neck without shame as he continued to kiss down her body while his fingers pulled open the barely tied robe. Black fingernails ruffled blue hair, gripping it in anticipation as the sensation of chilled breath brushed against a wanting flower. The cold immediately turned into warmth with the help of a tongue Hu Tao’s body was all too familiar with at this point. A mere graze of her clit demanded her back arch; supple legs drape over trained shoulders capable of enduring any pressure as the man’s tongue seeped between dripping folds.
“Yeah, no dream could ever compare~” Hu Tao sighed lovingly, working through the sensation of feeling Chongyun push up against a dastardly spot near her entrance.
Liyue’s resident rambler was now muttering helplessly; Chongyun had to admit this sight was only second to the ever flowing taste of moments like this. His hands were holding the underside of her thighs firmly as they tried to come together in trembling approval of his efforts. His lips treasured her clit in the same way she played with his ear, making her hips rise and rock against his face eagerly. Not a problem whatsoever. Chongyun held her down with a bit more force, continuing to devour the girl like it was his last meal.
“Aaaggnhh~” Hu Tao’s hand immediately covered her mouth, teeth biting down on her middle finger. Even she could not handle the idea of residents hearing what was going on with newlyweds, regardless of if it was the most obvious thing in the world.
Part of her didn’t want to come yet, but it was quickly becoming an inevitability with how dedicated each lashing was. Just when the rhythm felt predictable, she would feel his tongue push further towards the back of her walls to trace any crevices found before returning to poking and prodding towards the entrance. Breath after breath grew shorter as her hips tightened. Hu Tao could feel her orgasm knocking the moment her eyes shut to greet it. Then, nothing. The tongue that had her on the ropes slithered out from her body and she was left panting like a dog as her husband looked at her with an intense gaze brimming with vigorous satisfaction.
Hu Tao could feel her face grow hotter. “I think you’ve confused praising with punishment.” She whined.
It was so cute when she was honest. “Don’t worry. Your praise is on its way. Moments like this should linger, and be given in earnest.”Chongyun pulled off his shirt in one fluid motion.
Dedicated training from Shenhe with tips from Xiao had done wonders for the exorcist. Hu Tao took in the toned sight of self discipline, and marveled once again at enticed manhood as pants were discarded. No matter how many times this moment arrived, the idea that she had this effect on him was both a sense of pride and humility for her.
“Can you hug me?” She asked softly, opening her arms for him. Chongyun leaned down into them, his lips once again loving hers.
The warmth rubbing against her was enough to make her shudder. Hu Tao spread her legs a little further as she tried to focus on the kiss, a goal that became increasingly harder as a fullness gradually washed over her body.
As Chongyun let his weight press against his love, he heard her whimpers rattle their kiss; her body squeezed him without remorse and her nails fought to not harm his back. Naturally, he broke to kiss to let her breathe and was amazed to find her red as a tomato as her body trembled.
He tilted his head. “On entry?” He said with genuine shock, earning a flustered squint.
“I was already close when you stopped prematurely! Of course that leaves me sensitive.” Oh how she wanted to lay in a grave right now! Cumming so quickly after coaxing him to bed was beyond embarrassing!
As she tried to calm down, Chongyun moved again. His hips fully met Zhu Tao’s to steal her breath again as he rested his head beside her. Legs were brought around to his lower back, and her neck was once again a victim of biting.
“W-Wait! I just…” her words might as well be provocation laced in honey. The only thing they accomplished was a deeper stirring inside that exposed her body of wanting more with each vulgar sound that dripped out from her. “Chongyun~”
His beautiful eyes met her fluttering irises again. Without words, she felt the deepest kiss so far drawn her into his heart. Heavily gasping was shared while thin breaking trails of saliva clung between them, spurring Hu Tao to keep her mouth open to invite Chongyun’s immediate return. Their hips needed no instruction to move in perfect sync. Each thrust only threatened to be the last before another descent buried the man in frothing heat. As the temperatures rose between them, Hu Tao felt her beloved’s movements grow more greedy and wanting as her kisses.
Her voice shook as they said, “More~” softly, again and again.
His body began to sweat from Hu Tao’s pleas and admiration. “You’re close again.”
“I’m waiting for you…” She wrapped her arms around his shoulders, continuing their lovely make out session. Even when she wanted breath, her bottom lip was nipped lightly to draw her back into.
The room devolved into a place filled by ragged breathing and blissful moans. Both minds were swimming in the pleasure they gave one another to the point nothing else seemed to matter. That swelling feeling that formed knots below Hu Tao’s navel had arrived again , gradually layering atop one another again and again until finally the shape of Chogyuns length slammed down and pushed ropes of his seed. Hu Tao’s voice could not even come out as her body began to writhe, latching onto every facet of the exorcist as he marked her deepest part until she could feel how it warmed her. All the while, their tongues continued to lazily play with one another until the crashing waves they felt ended.
Their lungs burned as they tried to breathe, finally taking a proper breath. Hu Tao could hardly muster strength on her body. If it weren’t for Chongyun holding her close as he sat up, she wouldn’t have at all. The sound of his beating heart against her chest was rather difficult to tell from hers, but she managed. Her legs finally unlocked from behind his back but Hu Tao’s hug was still in full effect. She could stay like this for hours. However, her husband had other plans. Both his husband slid down her spine slowly, stopping at her rear to hold. Hu Tao felt the man’s strength as he began to raise her up. As she was about to help him separate, another jolt of pleasure sapped her body. The hands that were just lifting her up were now lowering back down onto a cock not yet out of stamina.
“C-Chongyun!?” She gasped, his movements continuing to slowly slide up and down his shaft. “Time out~”
“Just one more~” he whispered in her ear, his grip on her tightening. Perhaps it was the heat or the addictive scent of his love in his arms, but his body felt so restless. “Nngh. Angh, I love you.”
“That’s cheating!” The girl cried out, face redder than ever. Hu Tao found the power to raise her head.
All she found when she did was light blue eyes yearning for her touch on a flushed face that her heart couldn’t take. She could feel core clenching again and toes curling. Hu Tao couldn’t look away even if she tried. Their lips that had been so inseparable before were now politely brushing by one another as Chongyun leaned in slightly. Hu Tao tried to remain composed, but the brief encounter of a tongue put an end to that.
“So…stubborn.” Like she was one to judge. Hu Tao leaned in again, lips parted and tongue slipping in back where it belonged as she moaned into their deepest kiss. “Mmngh~”
The friction between their chest ensures the puddle in Chongyun’s lap continues to grow. Hu Tao did not feel sorry at all, nor would she take blame if she forgets her own strength in the end. As she took a shallow breath and took in all of Chongyun’s sounds, Hu Tao returned his blissful words wholeheartedly.
“I love you too~”

“Here you are! Two sticky honey roasts, a satisfying salad for the table, and some water! Thank you for choosing Good Hunter!” Sara smiled happily
“You can leave the water pitcher.” The newlyweds said in unison, embarrassed by their own actions. It’s amazing how quickly breakfast turned into lunch time.
Hu Tao adjusted her collar for the hundredth time in fear of revealing their activities this morning. “ I must say, you never fail to surprise me. Does Yang energy come with boundless stamina.”
His face grew redder. “N-No! I just… felt a little overwhelmed. In a good way! Sorry, hehe. I guess I got a little excited about how happy I am that we're together.”
“Aiya, it’s like I’m hearing vows again!” She blushed. Hu Tao reached across the table and intertwined their fingers. “I feel the same, but let’s be real here. We’ve been together for a long time now. I had the longest feeling it’d be you to the end of days.” She smiled, watching the boy blush harder as he ate.
“The sunlight feels gentle and the air is good. Passion stirring, feelings understood.” Hu Tao rhymed, really signaling her wonderful mood. Layered clouds triumph the skies…”
“While burning hearts dance like butterflies.” Chongyun finished, witnessing Hu Tao light up in real time.
“Eloping was a marvelous plan. I can’t wait to marry you again back home! Let’s keep this little prank between us for now.”
“We sorta have to. Imagine if Xiangling learned that a form of wedding already took place and she didn’t cater.”
The funeral director couldn’t help but laugh nervously. “Hehehe…now that my dear exorcist, is truly a scary thought.” She will be sure tell her afterwards, and bring culinary gift as a piece offering.
Honestly I would kill to be one of the recurring side characters who gets to interact with them even if it's just as a waiter in the cafe they meet up in every episode
If you go around liyue talking to the gang (xiangling, xinyan, xingqiu, yun jin and chongyun) chongyun mention picking up lessons on cultivation and saying that if he noticed sooner hu tao and the traveler wouldn't have taken a big risk
That makes me think of the main friend group chongyun was privy to what was going on I imagine in the tianheng clan they live by the same rules die in death and live in life due to the nature of their job
Wanted to do more, but Hu Tao’s sleeves and hands… it was just too much.
So, just imagine she’s hanging on his back and that it’s a (late) Valentine’s piece
Reread Peach Cloud and some other Chongtao fics and I’ve got the brainrot again. Well, more accurate to say the Chongtao brainrot never left, it just hibernated. There’s a nonzero chance of more random art, but I’m not sure if I’ll write anything.
