Anyway, nothing will be more iconic to me than that time I was watching Chopped Canada, and the guy was saying he knew exactly what to do with the lupini beans because he was Portuguese, and grew up with them, and then he fucking forgot his lupini beans and got chopped.

So I'm watching Chopped Canada and I was so prepared to analyze it in comparison to American Chopped but this guy on the first episode is such a demon that I can't even think abt anything else

We're watching Chopped Canada and I was in the kitchen eating and feeding the munchkin and realized one of the contrstans sounds almost exactly like Red Green so now I'm just imagining Red Green as a chef and it's hilarious. Then I came to where I could see the TV and he doesn't look anything like I expected, because he doesn't look like Red, lol!

I'm watching Chopped and now I finally know why everyone is screaming at the TV
i know that people like to talk about ted allen on chopped junior and how he sometimes has to help the kids lift something and that's really cute and all. but then there's chopped canada junior and that host is on an whole 'nother level of dadness.
the host, brad, runs around after these kids, cutting bread and opening jars and lifting things up into the microwave or onto the stove or out of the oven, and he's always so enthusiastic about it. just giddily running after these kids like a puppy. he's like ''on my way! what do you need, honey? you want me to open this? chop this? cook this entire meal for you? I'M YOUR MAN. LET'S DO THIS, YOU LIL' CUTIE PIE.''
also, this one time, a little girl was crying after making her dessert because she was disappointed in herself and he went right over to her and got down to her level and hugged her and told her she did an amazing job.
I don’t care how many times I’ve seen it, or how corny it is. The Chopped Canada commercial where they’re coming up with theme ideas gets me every time
