How I spent the majority of my night. I call it "The Matrix". It's obviously not finished yet, but being a visual person I needed to write down all the bits of pieces of music theory I've learned over the years and have furiously trying to re teach myself. For some reason, having these things sitting there in front of me in simple terms while I play piano or guitar helps me immensely as I've been trying to piece everything together. So instead of having a bunch of webpages open constantly clicking around, it'll be neat and organized. (Re)Learning all this theory over the summer and early fall was really what got me inspired to start playing piano again, and to start (finally) writing my own music. So just being able to look at everything I've learned and had swirling around in my head will help immensely as I begin putting it all into practice.

Or at least I hope... Even though it's not complete, the musical possibilities with just what's been written down are basically endless.. which is incredibly frightening and daunting while being exciting at the same time.

This song called Ethe(sur)real is sort of ambient, but it's sort of like a normal song in a way. Hard to describe. I actually didn't use the full amount of instruments you can use in Korg M01 for this one, but you wouldn't have realized it if I didn't tell you. ;)
