    feeling the pressure of the shorter’s head upon his lap, josh glanced down for a moment and smiled. he, like everyone else, was glad to have simon back. he was worried that something had happened to him, but seeing him here with him again, there was calmness in the man’s body.  

         “tired?” he questioned, letting a hand rake through the blonde’s hair

“Exhausted.” Simon corrected gently, nuzzling up into the fingers that combed through his hair. Contact was always important to Simon, especially now after being left to fend for himself and fight his way back to Jericho alone.

He didn’t want to be alone anymore. He made it back, and he was going to stay with Josh as long as he would be kept. 

“But relieved. I thought for a moment I wouldn’t see you guys again.”

    looking around the mansion for a moment, josh felt out of place. sure the family he stayed with weren’t poor by any means, but something like this was much too big for his liking.

    not only that when markus said that he was welcomed here, he had to wonder if that was true or not.

         “are you sure that carl wouldn’t mind? i don’t want to outstay my welcome by any means..”

　　　"Actually, Carl suggested it.” Markus watches his friend with perhaps a bit too much eagerness. He’s not sure if Josh would be willing to stay with them, much as the idea of seeing him every day makes his systems stutter out in a way he’s noted as happiness. But he hopes that he’ll take advantage of the offer for a night here and there. “We have rooms to spare and I believe he’d enjoy your company.”

josh, having not known traci for very long, thought that it best to leave a soft--quick-- peck on her cheek. he didn't want to offend her in any way as he leaned back up. "you're--really pretty, just thought you should know." smooth as heck. ((chosepeace))

Oh. She had never been kissed by another android before. It was sweet. Her eyebrows are still raised in surprise when she turned to face Josh. Then she relaxed. He had a calming aura, she thought. She didn’t really understand auras, but she was pretty sure he had a good one. 

“You too, Josh. Uh, thanks. For the kiss.” Honestly, Willow hadn’t had true social interactions since leaving Arizona, and she was still trying to navigate how to be a person. She was either a bit stiff, or tapping into her more charming programming (which wasn’t her favourite, but it was better than sounding like a robot.) 

“I also wanted to say thanks for letting me hang out with you. It’s been pretty lonely. I don’t even know what to do with myself...”

Ⅰ. It was them against the barricade of officers and SWAT members, he had told everybody to stand their ground despite dozens of guns being pointed at them. His heart was pounding loudly within his ears, drowning out whatever warnings the other’s were whispering to him. Out of impulse he grabs Josh’s hand, giving a comforting squeeze. ❝ No killing and no running. We show them that no matter how much they try to intimidate us we will not be moved. ❞ He announces, glancing over to Josh with an affirmative nod.
